I found an unexpected blackwash Scallion. There was like one of them in a box of the normal stainless ones. Of all of the knives that could be blackwashed... I never expected the Scallion. Blur would be good, Blackout (Blackwashout?) maybe. The blackwash ZT's must've been gone by the time I got there - didn't see any :(

Depends which knives you are talking about. The Leeks, Scallions, and Wildcat Ridge series were the same price as last year. If you are referring to the ZT line, then yes the prices dropped from last year because there are more of them this year compared to last -- way more. Don't be surprised if you see some of the ZTs for even less next year. e.g. The Composite Leek was $45 last year and only had a small number which sold out in first hours. This year they were $30 and had boxes of them there. It's like that with any new line. Starts off high and tapers off until it hits a floor price until discontinued.

I learned this by watching a knife Ken Onion personally picked out for me. It was $99, then next year it was $79, and last I saw it was $49 before disappearing from the lineup.
