Teaser: This is the nice retail knife store. Their prices are actually high but for the 1725SG2 it was tolerable. ZT prices ridiculously high! There is no "one" source for anything.

My flawless BNIB Junkyard Dog II 1725SG2 finally came in. Does the NOV 07 on the blade mean it was manufactured then?

What was the retail price when these came out?
$250 NIB is about what they're worth even in the secondary collectors market. Still these are really had to find so I'm sure they won't last long! I wonder how many they have. I'll pass since I already one. Nice find RamZar.

They sold for $120 to $150 range in 2008. The last one sold on ebay for $295. It had a 2.2 composite not the SG2 blade. A NIB one sold on here in 2011 for $200.

I paid 160 for a new blem at a local knife shop about a year ago. Hoping that they are still in stock ordered one. Thanks Ram

I ended up selling two and sending this one to Brad Southard for an overhaul. IKBS was added to the pivot, an addition of a carbon fiber overlay as well as a carbon fiber backspacer, the handle was given an acid washed finish, and the blade was given a hand satin finish. It still has the deep carry tip up clip from STR.

If you can contact RamZar he can tell you where to get one . They arent cheap though I paid 250 for mine there. well worth it to me
 
I did that to one of mine also. The puzzle pattern looks really nice with the rivet pattern on the handles. Great minds think alike.
