Kershaw Leek: Titanium and ZDP pics...see them here-FIRST!

I know this thread is geared towards discussion of the ZDP Leek, but (as Jason noted) it does bear mentioning that the s30v G-10 Leek is a great every day user- good steel and relatively easy on the wallet. I like to think of it as the "poor man's ZDP" ;)
Of all the knives I have, the g-10 never seems to be too far away.

I've carried my G10/S30 several times this week. It is a great blade for sure. I can do more detailed work than I can when I carry an Endura. I love the fine tip, it works great for most everyday tasks.

The legality of this blade makes EDC difficult for me. Down in LA we have some strict knife laws and the way they are written condemns the leek IMO. I don't think anyhting will ever happen, but if I used a knife in self defense I would not want the legality of my knife to be an issue. I carry it around the house though.

I also don't have the need for a $200 Leek, sorry. I do want a knife in ZDP, but Spyderco does them for well under $100. I guess Titanium must be REALLY expensive!!

The few Titanium framed ZDP blade folders available right now are from William Henry... and they cost quite a bit more.

Maybe I'm just cheap, Titanium is nice, but not that nice. William Henry knives are custom knives aren't they?

They are high quality production (but custom quality) knives.

Did you all check images of this knife in The Gallery? Looks like one of the first one's has hit the hands of a BF member.

Just ordered one from GPK. I like zdp and I like titanium. I told myself I did not need another knife, but I need to feed my addiction and got one. I previously turned down the spyderco zdp delica because I do not like FRN. I currently own the rainbow leek and it is flawless. Well, looks like I blew my budget again.

I guess I should mention that only about 300+ Ti Leeks have actually left the factory, the balance will go out in 3-4 weeks. Looks like somewhere between 900-950 total pieces will be produced.

I don't suppose these puppies have a detent and ball setup such that they could be converted to non-AO (i.e. manual only)?

If I hadn't already converted my G10/S30V Leek to a framelock, and hadn't just bought a Buck Mayo TNT I'd be all over this. As it is I don't think I can swing it right now though. I guess I'll have to wait for Kershaws next ZDP knife, as I have a feeling these are going to be hard to come by as soon as they are all to retailers.

Props to Thomas and Kershaw for getting this knife made though. You guys are awesome!!

This is where I go to buy most all my knives. GP Knives has been more than fair to me.

SOLD! Thanks for the link! Love my rainbow leek, but this lighter and better steel version will become my EDC. I'm guessing for a long time.

 Glad to assist a fellow knut.
