Kershaw Premium Skyline Carbon Fiber S30V

I can't wait to add these latest models to my collection. I'll need one for carry as well!

Should drop pretty soon I think.

Ditto for the pair with matching serial numbers. I requested some desired serial numbers so hopefully I'll get one of those or it'll be the lowest available.

Great minds think alike! I requested specific serials too - I'm trying to see if I can match any of my BFCs...

I just received this note from BladeHQ on my request for Serial Number Match - too bad my BFC serials are over #200...

"We apologize but we are not offering Kershaw Premium Skyline Matching Serial Number Sets beyond #200. We are happy to look for any available serial number under 200 you would like.
Please let us know what numbers you would like by calling our Customer Service line or email back to this address."

So to answer ToxicBot11 - at least 200?

I guesstimate the total combined run of around 500 with 300 stonewashed and 200 DLC.

Haiduke, just curious, how can you tell a "first production" Skyline? Are they marked as such?

Hi Rasco - Kershaw will mark some of their new products with a special marking listing them a 'First Production 1 of 500' It means that they were produced early in the normal production cycle.

Nice. Thanks for the reply.
I got my first Skyline years ago, but apparently not one of the first 500.

I've only ever seen a handful Skyline FPR's appear for sale, I did manage to snag a blem version but I'm still looking for a non-blem...(and a Ducks Unlimited and a 40th Anniversary!)

I just noticed something interesting, and this could be first for a Skyline - could there be sub-models within BladeHQ's exclusive?

On their website BladeHQ has them listed as different models, and based on their email to me the serialized sets are only available on serials #200 and below:
1760CF & 1760CFBLK

DLC Blade with serial #201 and above:
1760S30VCFBLK

Satin Blade with serial #201 and above:
1760S30VCF

I guess we'll find out once the knives start arriving what the actual model numbers are... :D

I'm a Skyline collector, but if there are alternate part numbers above 200 that's just crappy.

A close look at xICEMANx's video reveals his P/N 1760S30VCF is Serial #0312. I'll share the part numbers on my matched pair when I receive them.

I doubt that identically constructed knives will have different part numbers.

I'll get my matched set on Tuesday and will advise on serial numbers but I'm doubting two sets of model numbers for matched sets and non-matched ones. I think it's just a discrepancy on the BladeHQ website. I remember them changing the model numbers back and forth with or without inclusions of S30V in them.
