Kershaw Premium Skyline Carbon Fiber S30V

I received my matched pair today with my requested Serial#. The model numbers are 1760S30VCF for the stonewashed and 1760S30VBCF for the DLC blade.

The CF is like on the ZT 0350SWCF which means of the smoother variety than say ZT 0777 & 0560CBCF. One side is completely CF with no liner like my Skyline Damascus.

Both blades were sharp but neither blade was centered (1760DAM with G-10 is perfectly centered). First attempt improved it. Flips like a charm. They both weigh 2.47 ounces.

Some pictures below. The way the light hits the CF can make quite a difference but both knives have the same CF.

Hi RamZar, Thanks for the update! Ironically, when I couldn't get my first matched serials for my BFC (in the #3XX) I asked for two other numbers and I am receiving one of them - I asked for #50 & 63... lol

"I sent you numbers 49 and 63. As far as how many are or will be made Kershaw has not disclosed that information with us so unfortunately we do not know."

How did you center yours? I tried adjusting pivot, but no go.

Mine are not completely centered yet. I did a quick attempt and will try again tomorrow.

First, tighten the pivot. Then, loosen the handle screws. Next, stuff paper on or just hold the side that it needs to go to become centered. Tighten handle screws with the bottom one first. Remove paper. Loosen the pivot screw until centered and also that it flips good.

May or may not work but it should improve it.

My sets came in today, and I think their great. No centering issues to be concerned about. One needed a slight pivot adjustment, but other than that no issues.

I got serial numbers 3 and 4, and I'm tempted to also try for matches to my BFC numbers. Unfortunately the wallet just can't take the strain!

Got mine today. Many thanks to the great folks at BHQ!

Asked for, and got, matching serial #111. No issues at all with mine. Easy flip, perfectly centered, nice grind. I've got no complaints whatsoever. Love 'em. :)

Did anyone get a number after the "#200 Matched sets"? I don't need a pair to match. Just trying to find out if the next 50 are Black or Stonewash blade.

I just received this note from BladeHQ on my request for Serial Number Match - too bad my BFC serials are over #200...

"We apologize but we are not offering Kershaw Premium Skyline Matching Serial Number Sets beyond #200. We are happy to look for any available serial number under 200 you would like.
Please let us know what numbers you would like by calling our Customer Service line or email back to this address."

So to answer ToxicBot11 - at least 200?

Got mine today, I like it. My 4th Skyline.
The carbon fiber feels and looks nice and smooth, and is easier to clip into pocket, and doesn't look like it will eat up pocket like G10.
I like the grippiness of G10 but I like this carbon fiber, too.
#315 Stonewash

You know, I told myself I didn't really need this knife, but after seeing some up close pics I may have been wrong... :)

#223 here SW version. This has to be one of the nicest knives Kershaw has ever made.

Just checked the weight and it comes in a 2.5 oz.

Surprised there are not more people interested in this knife. Especially since there was a bladeforums version of the Skyline with blue scales.
Is it the 3 figure price?
Where are y'all Skyline lovers?!

WELL... I'm about to bust the serial numbering (and quantity?) wide open I guess... got my Black blade today, serial# 0795.
