Kershaw Ruby

Ruby has been shipped. Got UPS tracking email but it'll take a while before I know exactly when I'll get it. From Oregon to SoCal should be here on Friday.
 
The UPS person just delivered mine and I did not receive a shipped notice. On the shopatron site it still has it as shipping soon.
 
My notification just arrived even though the knife arrived yesterday, it was in the 300,s for a serial number.
 
I see Kershaw issued an apology for the server problems they had with the sale on the their website. And there's 95 available Ruby's right now..

That's great! But wonder how many will get a second one to flip. A few went for $700 the past few days.
 
I was going to get one to flip as I have no desire for one. But then I realize I despise when people do this and while I know that If I dont do it it only means someone else will profit instead of me but still. Id rather know I wasnt screwing over other knife fans simply to profit. Plus knowing my luck ill buy one and get the only one with a blade rubbing the inside of the handle.
 
wow that is interesting that there are now 90 of those guys left. Good deal for those who missed out. They also seem to be slowly going down so they could be there for many hours or even a day +. Makes the whole experience more palatable.
 
I was just looking at the Ruby site on the chance that they had released some more. To my delight, I saw the apology about the server snafu that they had.
They had 82 available.

I was able to order one!

They now have 80 left....

I completely missed out the day they put them up for sale and figured that I would probably never get one. Never say never!

I should receive my Rubicon tomorrow so that should tide me over for a while.

I'm away from home and the website is not working with my phone.

Awesome for kai to do this. Crappy for my phone not to pay nice with the website.

I guess it wasn't meant to be.
