Kershaw Tilt...again.

any one expect the demand to be high as to drive resale price up? not that i would sell mine. i hope i get my 2 which i might kick myself for ordering two, but i plan to shelf one, and use one, like i said before i'll pay for one and put one one a card with zero balance...not like i need $450 in 2 knives, but the tilt is one of a kind with very limited production.

Will there be a chance of there being a more econiomical version with a lesser steel and g-10 mabey? in the future

I'd imagine the tilts would appreciate in value over time as most limited runs do. by how much? I do't know. I think a "Tilt 2" would be cool to have. steel framelock with a g10 scale and a s30v blade steel.

mabey when "the man" returns he can chime in about a "tilt 2" I am sure the guys on the factory floor will be glad when the tilt IS done, its been how long now since the tilt was introduced? prior to today?. The knife looks truly unique, as it will probably be even moreso when its in your hand!!

Well, I have had mine on preorder since August 26, 2010 so i'm comming up to an 8 month wait so far. I would love to see a more affordable version to use and abuse and keep the "premium" version looking nice and fresh. I doubt Kershaw has started devolpng ot even thought about producing such a knife yet but it'd be an awesome knife I think. I just hope they use S30V instead of the Sandvik. I'm sure it'll be a big relief for Kershaw to just get the first Tilt out of the way as you said.

can't wait to see what news Thomas brings with him when he gets back...I feel like its gonna be good...................I hope. :D

i hope thomas brings back good news too, i had to go against my better judgement and retract my second preorder tilt. I will be happy with one, and i cant wait to see more progress pictures!!!

Yeah. I figured i'll just hope for a Tilt 2. If it never becomes a reality, I will be more than satisfied with having one of the "originals".

I just hope they don't go on strike midway due to the grinding...and grinding...and more grinding:D.

Does anyone know of a reputable dealer that takes preorders on the Tilt and ship to international costumers? Been wanting this knife since I first saw Thomas's pictures of the ti-liners over at the 2BKC forum... As the production now seems to be closer than ever it's time to take action. So if anyone could send me the right way I'll be grateful.
