Kershaw Tyrade's in black G-10 are here

In the pics that knife looks strikingly similar to the ZT0350 in construction and size. Are they priced similarly?

My bro said he would have them in his "For Sale" thread in the Dealer forum tonight sometime.
He's already gone through 6 of them. Don't know how many he has left. (1000 pcs made)
Price should be around $80 shipped US.

WOW. Looks like these may be hotter than I first thought. Got the black one already paid for at KW, and ready to ship as soon as they arrive. I have a tan one spoken for as soon as they arrive, so I guess another call to Ashley is in order first thing in the morning to get an orange one spoken for. I had not planned to get the orange, but with numbers so low and the price so good, it would be foolish to pass on it!

Typical kershaw motto is, "buy both." I guess you took that up a notch with, "buy all three."

Just ordered a black G10 from Roger at Knifeworks.
According to his "New Arrivals" list, he got them yesterday.

Roger is good people - I have dealt with him before - very friendly and professional!

anyone have any pics of the orange and tan, I can only buy one and I heed to decide on which color I like best.

Found a picture of the Orange and Tan G10 - not sure if these are legit, or just someone taking the black G10 pic and photshop-ing them to change them, but here goes:

Price was addressed above. However, the Tyrade is much larger than the ZT0350. The price point is lower because Kershaw had surplus Tyrade blades...

Its a GREAT knife for the price point.

I spoke to knife center today, and ordered a black one and an orange one when they get them in which is supposed to be early next week. I also got an opinal just to try out. I havnt been this excited about a knife for a long time!

Just talked with Roger at KW about the Orange Tyrade. He said they will arrive to him this Friday. I went ahead and ordered an orange one to go with the tan and the black I have ordered. He also told me I would be a happy camper tomorrow as the black are in the store and mine is packed and just waiting for UPS to pickup. This one I ordered using UPS Overnight express as I couldn't wait for it to get here. The orange and tan will come UPS ground............unless I take such a liking to this one that I want the others now!

So, I'll have a first impressions post up tomorrow afternoon/evening. I hope this knife is up to my expectations and not one of those "letdowns"! I've been eagerly awaiting these since Thomas first made mention of them in February! I'm thinking it will be up to snuff.:D:thumbup::)

Not one for delayed gratification are you. :p Yes, I'm envious.

I'm hoping to get a tan one. On paper this knife seems to have a lot going for it. Look forward to reading your opinion and first hand impressions.

An orange one arrived at my doorstep this afternoon. It's an amazing knife, great ergos, shape, size, and it's bright and beautiful. Buy one. It rides well and deep in the pocket, would be a great EDC as mine has taken the new top spot.

Here lately it seems that things are coming in 3's. I have all 3 of the Kershaw JYDII's, although it is actually more than three to complete the set, and I also have all 3 of the ZT0200's. With the low price on the G10 Tyrades, it is a no brainer to me to get all three. What I like best is that Kershaw is putting the beefier, thicker blade into this knife. I sit sometimes and look at the three JYDII's I have and wonder why Kershaw didn't go ahead with the thicker 5/32" blades like the Tyrade and ZT0200 have. The thick liners of the JYDII just beg for the thicker blades as far as I'm concerned, but then thats me and not everybody else. I am glad to find out that the pocketclip is set for tip up and tip down carry, and that they ride low in the pocket. So there we go, now just waiting for tomorrow to see if this knife lives up to my expectations! Been a while since I have been this excited for such an inexpensive piece, and I really don't mean that in a knifesnobby way at all! Also wanted to add, and as J Curd has already mentioned above, that since the blades already exist, buyers are getting a heck of a deal as I would think we would be paying more if these knives were entirely built from scratch.
