kershaw warehouse sale

My personal philosophy has always been that if it is rare or special and it was a gift I keep it forever in my little vault of treasured memories. If it is not so rare and a gift I gift it to others to help propagate the hobby. I have been gifted and won countless Leeks and other main line Kershaw items that I have used to make a kid's day (with parental consent, of course).... I like to think that I probably created a warm spot in those kid's hearts for the brand and created a few life long Kershaw customers.

That said, I gotta agree with Dave and TW on this....it is what it is. You never know the circumstances, so, you just have to let it slide. Maybe 1 out of 10 is actually sold for a real need....but, at the risk of jamming someone up and creating some sense of ill feelings, you just have to let them slide.

You guys need to understand that TWs last post it the truth.... he may come off all hard-a**, but, if he says it's all cool.... he means it. A finer, more cool and even handed, dude you will not find very often. In his years he has seen just about everything that can happen around knife people and has a zen about it these days.

Zya, dont be negative.... life is too short :)

Happy Holidays to everyone and here is wishing that all your stockings are filled with lots of Kershaws to treasure/flip/sell/mod/break while prying on stuff/use forever/pass on to your kids...........and on and on. So long as they are Kershaws it's all good ;)

Now if i could get you to somehow explain in your words to my wife why i need to have more than one knifem then i would be all set. I just got my G10 Sped Bump a week ago, and last night i mentioned buying more, she wigged, even though i said that all but one was for Christmas presents, she asked "Why do you need the one for yourself?"
My reply of "I can't order and not grab myself one" didn't fly to well.
I've seen a little success with wives softening to "multiple knife syndrome" when you get them involved. Getting her a knife in her favorite color, a knife like a Two Can, a specialized kitchen knife...can possibly break the resistance the majority of us hear.

Maybe that would work for you...and her.

Genius....off to the Kershaw site to do some wifey shopping...she actually has recently taken a shine to having nice kitchen knives, and mind you, they are no Kershaw's just a couple decent Calphalon knives, and a Henckel paring knife. Off to the Kershawknives.com. Thanks Thomas...I hope.

I bought mine a Nakamura, she loves it!

Unfortunately, my wife isn't into pocket knives, but the Wasabi series of kitchen knives are interesting to me, just wish i was closer to the factory, i would have been all over the warehouse sale, could have taken care of me and my wife, and probably even get the kid a knife without too much trouble from wife, as long as she was busy with her new kitchen sharps.

Wow if I had a TILT whether free or not I would laser engrave "I love Thomas W" and carry it everyday and keep it until I die and also donate 100$ to a charity. Ill keep praying
Thomas gave me great deals on some knives and I paid it forward with a donation to Toys for Tots at the warehouse sale. I keep meaning to ask him how they did this year. Last year Kershaw raised and donated something like $14,000 for Toys for Tots.

This year I believe it was right around $18,000

Mine never understood my obsession and never wanted more than a tiny knife and her fancy kitchen knives until I got her a red smoke Leek and now she can't stop flipping it. She keeps threatening to swipe one of my red Blurs now! I've got another ordered so I can keep a few red Blurs stashed away for myself.

Really wish I lived closer to Oregon. Would have been there in a heart beat. Still got to experience Thomas' generosity and was lucky enough to be gifted Tilt #111. After seeing all these awesome scores, might just have to look into how much airfare would be for next year haha.
