Seeing that pocket clip makes me think about putting mine on and seing if the colors match up better after the clip is worn and used for a while. Does ZT use Loctite on their pocket clip screws?

Answering my own question - My knife did not have Loctite.

Zt used the perfect amount on mine you could barely see light traces of it but may vary from knife to knife . Not knowing how much they used I heated mine up with a blow dryer and got it nice and toasty . Make sure your tool isnt worn out and push hard making sure it’s seated good in screw before twisting and it should come loose no problem .

I just ordered mine last night and was hoping for that serial #. Any chance you would be interested in a trade for the same knife but different serial #?

possibly? i was planning to blade swap mine with a regular 0609 that way i have a blackout handle with a satin cpm20cv blade... waiting on the pivot tool to be avail

Yep, I bought the Wiha tools just for this purpose. I learned a long time ago the hard way with a cheap torx bit and Spyderco’s red Loctite.

No doubt and a heat gun or blow dryer can also help conquer some loctite .
BM and Spydie are in love with loctite !!
ZT’s are very conservative from the ones I’ve experienced anyway .

If you can manage, maybe take some outside pictures of your BRZ, I wanna see how that clip looks in the sunlight. Fits very nicely on the knife in those pictures

Here you go I took a couple outside on my lawn chairs lol . It’s cloudy out so the purple/blue flames are a little brighter in the sun then now but the “bronze “ similarities match even better in the natural light outside imo and in person.

OK, a question.... The stock filler tab has one hole. Yours has two. Do the screws come with the tab?
