A little Kershaw my parents bought me in the late 80s or early 90s.
Edited to add some slightly better pictures, it is hard to get a good picture tonight.

Great pictures of holiday carry here - you folks sure don't disappoint! Thank you all for another great year of knife pictures.

I pulled out a rare one for the holidays, and then this week I will go with the 7777 CFM390 -

Damascus Shallot in the pocket today; my favorite Ken Onion design. Some sentimental value to this one so it's mostly light use. Cuts real nice after thinning the edge a little with the Edge Pro to get around all the curves.

I love the Shallot man, the damascus on that one looks nice. I have an S110V Shallot back at my parents house.

Yeah, the S110V and ZDP-189 Shallots were really cool variants.

The S110V was almost ahead of its time, before the wave of high wear resistance, high vanadium steel in everything really got going (kind of like the S60V Boa, actually). And the ZDP-189 for being a high performance Japanese steel, in a US-made knife. Not a ton of those around!

A Kershaw 1034 Field knife from the Outdoor Knife series is a new addition to my Kershaw/Hattori knife collection.

This is my Kershaw/Hattari collection as it stands now.

From top to bottom:

Special Agent (1002)
Trooper (1007)
Field Folder (1050)
Camp & Field (1030)
Field (1034)
Heay Duty Field (1035)

There are still 3 others in the Outdoor Knives Series that I'm still missing and looking to buy for the "right" price -- the 1029 Field & Stream, 1031 Camp & Stream and 1032 Skinner.

The knives in this series were originally priced at between $20-40 dating back to the late 70's. They're now selling for about 10-20x's those prices which, after 40-45 years, doesn't seem out of line.
