Kershaw/ZT Picture Thread!!! Let's See Em'!

So I really like the Proximal. Yes it's China-made and perhaps a bit pricy for D2, but it's got excellent ergos and action. I'm hoping they make some premium versions of it - maybe CF + M380 or MC or something.

The size and weight are great. Don't overlook it - and it can be had for $68 right now if you know where to look.

Installing my Votix scales on the Bel Air XL and seeing some interesting construction techniques. These things actually come with multi row kvt bearings, which almost makes me feel bad for about the Skiff's I'm about to install. The oem multi row use infintessimally small bearings, and they are using ultra thin washers inside the pocket on the blade and on the liner to take up some of the width. So 4 washer races total. I believe they all come out for skiff install, tbd. Then I notice they are using a tacky and thick grease inside the omega spring pockets of the scales, which is great. That will keep the number one killer of omega springs at bay, corrosion.

I got in a few sets of scales from Votix and have 3 more sets being made - they are super high quality. And yes, both the Bel Airs and Iridiums have stupid-small bearings. I've done Skiff swaps on both (actually working with Skiff right now on right-sizing the Iridium bearings.) Time will tell if the swaps makes sense on the Bel Air - it sure feels better once the Skiffs are in. We'll see how it holds up.

The below pics don't capture the glint and depth of the Votix CF for whatever reason.

K KVT I will check out the Proximal.

I have a couple of the offshore duralock pieces and they have been really good.
The Covalent in CF is a super nice knife.

I picked up this super blue Petty on one of the recent Shun vault sales.

I'm wondering if this will be a big hit like the Iridium and spawn all sorts of variations. Kershaw has been introducing lots of great knives lately.
 
0620cf with a Suingab g10/micarta scale and a Gray Precision copper thumb disk

I was thinking about MXG Gear hardware for it but I thought it might not look great since the pivot would be oem. I've been curious about the MXG hardware, I may try it for my 0801. Their hardware looks very premium and well made
