The liner/cover assemblies are ground to shape and thick stainless steel "washers" counter sinks are cut. Here, the washers are shown in place...not yet glued.

Well I took a day of vacation and I'm sitting here waiting for my grandson to be born either today or tomorrow-- HOW ABOUT THAT!!-- and came across this post. WOW what an opportunity. Thanks so much. I must say thanks to you and so many others here. I have learned a tremendous amount.

Wow 3000 posts. I know that I have followed your work for a while now. I have seen your fanbase grow and your knives improve. I have got to say, congrats on reaching 3000 and hope your hear for a while more. Keep up the good work and thanks for this great chance. The knife is looking great btw.
