Khuk Kollection & Khuk Rack Konstruction

AWESOME Bookie!!! I would love to have a display like that in my house. I have a gorgeous black walnut hiking staff that matches that wood perfectly. I can just picture my kukris on the stand with the hiking staff leaning against it. Gorgeous!

Captain! Oh, my Captain! Shav here is your one last photo as promised. The bottom shelf has been added, the corners beveled with the router, and rough sanding done. Needs fine sanding and painting to be complete.

Dang bookie! I need to customize me a truck so I can put one like that in the back window. Shotgun on the bottom 3006 over that then a mess of Khukris to the top:thumbup:

Kamidog, that's a nice idea, but you gotta thing BIG, lad. You know those angled racks they put on trucks for hauling sheets of plate glass/windows? Heh-heh-heh......

Ha! You mean add a couple more leaf springs to the back of my truck. Then Id be ready to haul glass:p

Naw, put it up on blocks and send the spring to Nepal, they need steel. You do have a Mercedes truck right? Volvo?

Bawanna, Kamidog don't even have shocks any more on that flivver of his. You know how hard them Texicans are on their stuff dodgin' them Texas Speed Bumps in the road all the time. I feel right sorry fer all them armadillas down his way.

Yup, just like life. Sometimes your the truck and sometimes your the armadilla.

Yep! Bookie it dont pay to haul glass in my parts. Now them Dillas are dangerous as heck on a dirt bike I tell ya! I've gone over the handlebars and planted myself up in the youpon trees more than once. Best thing to do is hit them square in the middle if you cant miss them entirely otherwise theyll throw your wheel sideways and.... well thats it. Gotta aim for band no. 5 on a 9 banded armadillo:D

Armadillo's formed a band? Hope it ain't rap, that just wouldn't be right.

Dan, you just need to go near Sofala or Hill End, do a little fossicking, cash it in, and spend your earnings. You'd have so much free money that you could have them put double beet root on that double cheeseburger. A nice beef mince pattie (needs a bit of Vegemite, too, you know) or two, a couple of Tooheys Red Bitter with your feet kicked up, mate, life doesn't get much sweeter!

I don't know what fossicking is, but if there's money in it I'll give it a go :) and I've never had vegemite on a burger, but hell, I'll give that a go too. ;)

And the rack looks great mate, give those khuks some well earnt breathing space :)

Dumpster diving mate! For Bookie that would be gold. For Kamidog aint nuthin but that black gold here. Aint worth a buck fifty anymore tho.

Haha the more you know aye. That'd be right, getting taught Australian words by yanks. I spoke I know a fair few American words too so it evens out I reckon.

Dan, pulled one nugget large enough that it paid for four people round trip business class from Iowa to Sydney! This is the east end of Golden Gully up on Tambaroora creek near Hill End, NSW.

Damnnnnnnnn.... Looks like I need to do some prospecting. I bet you crapped your pants when you pulled that nugget out of the ground.

Love how it turned out and the bottom shelf looks perfect with the IBBB w/PP sitting on it, a true craftsman's work for holding the work of other craftsmen. How very fitting.
