Kiljoy KutLery, WIP, designs and completed blades.

These are some of the baddest ass knives I’ve ever seen. Modern day hard use Scagel’s - not implying that you copied Scagel. The similar style to making knives with what’s available is the similarity. You have some serious talent man. I think anyone who likes durable knives would be proud to own one of your pieces. Beautiful work.

Have to definitely agree with post #41......You make some kick ass blades that look hungry for work....and play!!!

Was certainly missing your work....... but everyone has priorities!!!! Best of luck getting back in your shop!!!
Looking forward to seeing what you've got in the worx!!!!!!

James

Awesome looking blades!!!! Been missing your stuff... Hope all's well with you and your family...
Glad to see you back knocking' metal.....

I'm full time making for the next couple months. I have more knives in the que than ever before. I've dialed in my designs, I have numbered models. (these all have names as well) I am running these first few batches with both 5/32 and 1/4" 80CrV2 steel. I will be forging blades as well, doing stock removal batches and then sprints of hand forged hidden tangs...because I truly love this method.
Handles will be whatever I feel like doing, but usually micarta or G10. I will be making Tshirts and producing numbers I haven't done previously. I have about 30 knives in different stages of completion. They will be hitting the marketplace as soon as next week. I will be upgrading to my own subforum and changing my LONG standing name to the company name. Kiljoy Kutlery is happening. I know the economy is tough, but I have to believe these designs will be enjoyed and USED in the field. I will price them as affordably as I can.
I am putting out survival and bushcraft designs. Hunting and Tactical designs. I will update this thread with a list of models, concept art and sheath designs. I hope to meet some of you at a couple of upcoming knife shows in the Southwest in the coming year. God bless and watch your 6. "

Glad to see more progress. That's a good looking stack of blanks!
Those are at heat treat. I have a similar batch already back and preparing two more batches today. If I hurry I can sneak a couple more in for this weeks heat treat. I am buffing the hardened blades a little bit at a time, pushing the blanks out in the lead. Trying to get out in front enough to get a rhythm going. I would like to get 6 a week or more out in the coming month. Just starting up took a couple weeks. Ordering more steel this weekend, and planning on forging two days next week. That should give me about 10-12 hand forged blanks. Hoping to nail down a couple of my designs while forging...I got a new hammer, so no problem. lol.

Happy to have you back around and Congrats on going full bore!!!!👍

Best of luck with this endeavor.. Looking forward to seeing what you're working on!!!!!

Missed seeing your cool blades a d wicked comfy.looking handles!!👌

A couple models, The M27, M27-C and the M22 Carpenter with a chisel ground blade for tradesman. I hand draw my designs, then transfer them to stock, and cut the blanks, grind the knife. Then off to heat treat, then the finish line. I will be doing my own heat treatment soon, I am currently needing to update some electric in my shop for my Paragon oven. For now, a good friend and professional knife maker is fitting in my blanks with his products. So I am getting batches done, as I can't overload his program. I have another 12 out that should be back this week, and another 10 blanks going out...including this model 27 pictured. The two blanks in the picture (right of the M27) are my M15 hunters. These have a similar handle to the M14 bushcraft knife. I promise I will put together a full catalogue of my design drawings, and post them to BF as soon as I get my subforum going (next few weeks, as budget and time allows.)
