I want one badly!

I have the cash.

I am not TT.

I am SAD about that.:(

If ANYONE want's to help a future hog out,PLEASE oh PLEASE pm me!
(I would be an inducted Hog now,but I missed the induction at blade due to family:o.... I've even met some of the crew)

I am but a wee piglet now..... I need fattening up!

If more grovelling is needed, that can be arranged....
No regrets!

Let me call a "wha-mbulance," with the way the govt. is going, in a few months, Jerry will probably have to provide LE Zillas to all those who aren't the "wealthy elite," come on are you serious!!!!! THAT IS EXACTLY WHAT IS WRONG WITH AMERICA!!!! I want a Ford Raptor but I can't get one because Ford is charging 40k for them, so now I am going to blame everyone but myself for why I don't have one.

I'd certainly like to buy one, but sadly was not a Killa Zilla "Test Team" member. :(

Man - That is one wicked looking beast...

I'm going to post this though I know it was cause a whole lot of backlash, I buy these knives for my husband since he seems to like them so much and I have heard enough about how badly he wants one of these LE Zilla's to make my ears bleed so I had intended to get him one for Christmas this year... Now, because I didn't have the time or money to go hang out and look at knives and drink beer with the guys last year I can't buy one without hawking my wedding rings. I have noticed that Mr. Busse likes to play alot of games and while I don't mind some excitement I don't always have the ability to sit idle in front of my computer and let my children run wild so I can participate, not to mention the fact that these knives can become insanely expensive, I cannot help but wonder if this is a knife maker who requires that I be wealthy and not have to work in order to own his knives. I am becoming tired of trying to buy American when American's only care about how much they can jack up the price and make sure that the working man has to choose between a quality knife and putting a meal on the table for his family. I carry a Sar 3 currently as it's the one I like best and it seems to fit my hand better than most of them and my friends think Im insane to carry something that expensive much less to have bought it, the question most asked, Why would you spend that much money on a knife when there are so many other things you could buy. You can pick up a 20 dollar knife at walmart and do the same things with it... It's hard to defend buying American when the price is that big of a difference, it's discouraging and disheartening to see that not only can I not get my hands on one but even if I could you have the prices marked so high that short of not paying rent that month I couldn't get him one. So, while I'm sure that the rest of you seem to have thousands of dollars to spend on getting one knife I'm speaking for those of us who have to save for months to buy one but perhaps that's the point. Perhaps it's come down to only the elite wealthy can own a Busse. I'm sure that you all will roast me after this post and I'm sure I have offended those who do have money and time. Perhaps it's time to find a knife maker who believes we should be able to afford to buy his knives and not have to jump through hoops, play games, and run naked through the streets to get something nice.

Nice first post, it sounds like you should look into Cold Steel knives...........................................

.

That full convex grind is a thing of beauty. The whole knife is gorgeous. I actually like my choppers a bit lighter, but that one would sure look pretty on a knife stand on my book shelf. All I use my KZ TT for is wood splitting, so I have the mondo heavy chopper niche covered. There is another pretty large Busse still available that I have my eye on. But this KZ 2 LE is certainly special, and I have been found "worthy" to purchase it. Decisions, decisions.

Go easy. A lot of people's first posts are complaints about how hard it is to get the knives they want... I know mine was. It's shocking to the uninitiated, when finding such a well-respected brand, to essentially be told, "No. Not yours." You can't expect everybody to jump into the game right away, not knowing what the rules are. (Well, I guess there really are no real "rules", but there are definitely mores of hogdom.) Stomping the trough is fair play for other hogs, but let's not run off the piglets.

Compared to most other boards I frequent,I would say he DID take it easy
on her!
That's why I like this group of folks.If that's considered harsh,then I'm in the
right place.:thumbup::thumbup:

I had to learn all on my own and I didn't blame the maker for the knives being expensive, no one put a gun to my head and forced me to get on here. That is just the mentality these days. If you save your money up that you work hard for and someone else decided to have kids and can't buy expensive toys instead, it is our fault and we are labeled the "wealthy elite" even though less than one percent of us on the forum probably have 100k or more in the bank. Herd mentality. I understand what you mean Corey, but that was a pretty unearned assault on Jerry and all of the ppl that appreciate why the knives cost what they do, she should watch the youtube torture test on the FFBM to see where the money goes imho

To those that are eligible, congrats on the opportunity to pick up a great looking knife. For those that are not, yeah it sucks, but it seems like this is Busse's way of saying thank you the efforts of those that helped them work on a knife.

Maybe some of you will be friends with someone who was on the test team, and will end up with one. Those of you that won't - don't bitch about something you can't have because you didn't earn it.

This is Jerry's business, it's his choice to decide who can and cannot have a knife he builds.

Well I have placed my order for one ....

I am sure a few people will be taking up the chance to buy more than one to offer others the chance to get one ....

I ordered one, too. Even though it is still a bit heavier than I like my khuks, it's lighter than the TT. And with those beautiful scales and full convex grind, how could I pass up on such a knife? It is the ultimate Busse Khukri and I helped in a small way to bring it about, along with the other Test Team members.

Sweet LE, Bossman! I gotta get me one of these!!! ...Mebbe more than one...? :D:thumbup::thumbup:

I think the grind profile on these will be the best Busse has done for chopping  Certainly the performance reviews will be interesting

i have a tt model, so i think im on the test team. got it by proxy.
