I should start this post by thanking Jerry for getting back to me, it was very impressive to realize that not only do you read the posts but you care enough to respond to the only person who had a complaint. It impressed a friend so much that he is looking into buying his first Busse soon.
As for all the one's who suggested I find a different knife maker or that I am being unreasonable for wondering why a knife costs 800.00 or is just flat unattainable I wonder how long you guys expect Busse to stay in business by running off customers. I can go to other knife makers, and have for that matter, why in the world would you tell someone to buy something else rather than encourage them by selling the quality of the knife? Yes, this is my first post, but it isn't my first Busse, I prefer to talk to people over the phone so it's rare that I join a forum unless I feel that either something will change or that something might be made clear why waste what time I have? Also, it's rather difficult to want to post anything when I already know that Im going to get my butt reamed if I don't post the way that you feel I should and the responses, by and large, prove that to be true. Ive participated in a few of the Ganza's and while they throw me off a bit Ive even managed to win some knives, this new twist is confusing to me, of course there are those of you who would rather tell me to take my money elsewhere than explain it. I should probably quit soon since Im sure this will start a new round of "how dare you's" but I would like to point out one final thing, most of you would have lost not just one customer for your favorite knife maker but two... How loyal is that?
