Killa Zilla III - Who wants it?

If there is going to be a KZ 3 i would like it to have the Proto handle with the TTKZ blade, in the pic below you can see the difference between the handles.

The shape and length of the proto handle makes the proto feel much lighter than the other two even though the proto is the heaviest one of the 3, i think the TTKZ would weigh about the same if it had mags instead of the standard slabs.

The blade on the Proto is a bit thicker behind the edge than the TTKZ and in my mind this makes it stick less than the TTKZ but it does not make it a better chopper, the KZ2 is in my mind the best choice if you want a KZ for lighter work because if you choke up on the handle when you use it it feels like a much smaller knife and you get more control.

If i could decide i would like the KZ3 to be fatter at the spine but with more taper towards the edge like the NMFSH and with the Proto handle.

Because i'm unclear which of the 2 is the test team and proto version i'm gonna have to ask you. Is the satin finished one the test team?

Yes, the satin one is the test team KZ. If you click on this picture to blow it up, you can see the TT774 on the blade.

I love my KZII, the handle worried me a bit initially but swinging it around now I am good with it.... but yes a "KZIII" with the TT Handle and II blade profile would be a MUST have for me... I just need to justify a TT now as well..... ;)

Would love one with the fusion handle, I'm in. Especially with a LB treatment...

A nice long, thin blade, fast handling Sirupate with Fuller/TGLB treatment would be awesome for hacking thru scrub & jungle fast. MMMMmmmm, a Busse Sirupate

I love the protos and the TT KZs. The IIs are okay but the handle takes a while to get used to. Anyway, if one would be offered with a fusion handle, I think that would be a deal breaker. I beleive the knife would want to slip too much and your hand would want to slide off. I think the original handles are best. But that's just me.

"Serpientes Sirupate" has a nice ring to it. I also want a lighter, faster version. I like the heavy choppers too. I would probably want one of each in a more refined design that is less of a one-size-fits-all thing, and more of a right-tool-for-the-job thing. I don't own any Busse's yet because this is what I'm waiting for. Someday they'll make it, and then I'll finally be a Busse owner.

I'm a big fan of machetes and other blades of similar raw utility. I can't justify the high cost of fancy blades if it isn't also useful. Sylvester Stallone can have the rest for his Rambo movies.

Count me in double! Kukuris are in my top 3 blade designs of all time! But i would want it to be at least 5/16th thick ....blade size 12 to 15 inch ...I'm starting to drool lol..Jerry pllllllleaaaaase pretty plllllleaaase think of the children! Lol or I guess I should say Hogs lol.

A larger falcata or kopis design would be nice too. Busse made a gladius, so why not a falcata? In my unsophisticated and personally biased point of view, the greatest blades ever made were the falcata/kopis/kukri, the katana/wakizashi/naginata, the sabre/scimitar/cutlass, rapier/dagger, all the knives in my kitchen, and the machete. Of all of those, my "ultimate" kit would be falcatas, kukris, a naginata for the weeds, and machetes. I don't really need all of those, but if I were a spoiled brat, that's my fantasy.

Nerve102, what are the other 2 blade designs in your top 3?
