KillaKam

What is with all the users lately that only opt to leave blanket statements against another member without details or information?

^ Opens "never buy from" document, adds "mauser133". There, got it.

This guy is a fraud. Do not deal with him.

Why? See when we have no details, we have no thread. You cannot provide any type of details regarding why the community needs to beware and expect us to take your word for it? Right...
Until then, closed.

Another member has stepped forward and indicated that killakam has not completed his end of the deal. Again, when starting a thread here, you need details, facts of what is happening, times, dates, etc. Failure to do so does nothing to help the community. That isn't too hard to do or too much to ask for is it?

Scottypp, go ahead and write your experience in this thread if you will

Sorry. A few details. This guy found an old thread in which I posted a knife for sale. I had indicated in that thread that I was looking for a certain knife. He recently contacted me by email stating that he had this knife for trade. We worked out a deal to trade and we were to ship at the same time. I shipped and he disappeared. I have since gotten a couple emails indicating he would soon send the tracking number. He never did. No tracking number no indication that he shipped his end of the deal. A day after i shipped i knew this guy was a fraud and something was wrong. I contacted the post office to have my package returned. I am now waiting to see if my efforts were successful. If not then Im screwed because this guy has no intentions of keeping his end of the bargain and sending his end of the deal.

Scotty contated me by email stating he had a bad experience with killakam also. I would also like to hear the details of that one too.

Dates are usually helpful to understand exactly what has happened.

Friday the 17th was the agreed-upon ship date. I shipped as promised. He didn't. I received an email from him saturday the 18th. He said he would ship by the end of the day.I received another email 2 a.m. Today saying he would ship today. that's obviously another license today is a federal holiday and there is no shipping. He has been stalling sending any information about shipping since Friday morning.

Given the short amount of time, tends to make some folks chalk it up to being "too soon". Yet, the lack of communication is another matter that makes one wonder about intent. killakam has been posting "Email Sent" in several trade threads, so I wrangled them all up and consolidated them into a thread. Bottom line, if you cannot complete one deal yet, you have no business trying to negotiate 3-4 others. Scotty sent me a PM, and indicated his knife was delivered this morning (to killakam).

There is something about a member who only participates via the exchange. They use BFC as their "no money needed E-bay" and when the time is right they turn into POS scammers. I guess the only thing one can do is be leary of guys who spend 99.9% of their time wheeling and dealing trades.............

My experience is still on the fence.

We worked out a trade- My ZT 350 for his BM 940. Exchanged pictures- moved forward. Both agreed we liked the swap. He preferred UPS or USPS- so , I go to the local UPS store (Thursday 01/16) - send my knife out ( with his e mail on it) . E mail him, saying I sent mine here is tracking number- how about the same- no response- I e mail again on Fri the 17th. He responds- "Don't worry , I'm sending out today". still no tracking number. I e mail again Saturday, he replies he will have a number to me by the end of the day (Sat 18th), he says "don't worry, I'm not going to screw you over".

Sat passes - I see some other negative feedback on him- I contact UPS, they say I can intercept package and have re-delivered to me, but I have to go to the UPS Store to do that. I go to the UPS store today- I'm 15 mins to late, they delivered package at 8:30 am .

Meanwhile, he sends me an e mail (Sun 19th) saying he had stuff come up, etc, but he will send USPS Priority mail first thing in the am ( that would be today, MLK Day and I know PO is closed.) Says USPS tells him it will be here by 01/25.

So - I e mail him today- telling him I know he has my knife- guess we will see If he is genuine or not.,

I will say- if it goes South- it will be the first bad deal I have had on this forum.

I sure wish it had been on a Kershaw or cheap Spyderco, though !

do your homework. I know. Easier said then done when indulging in an addiction. http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/s...-bm-746-limited-digi-cam-zt0700-native-hk-mp5

Hope for his sake, Kamron grows up quickly and makes things right.
A little homework goes a long way doesn't it? ;) I hope he can man up and get these deals done. Walking through life as a thief isn't a good way to live.

I really wish the Exchange Trade section was open to paying members only. While it doesn't prevent idiots from being thieves, it really does lessen the opportunities. That and if people searched the person that is trading with them for any previous transgressions.
