According to the white pages its a family that lives there. His parents, some older relative, and him. I call bs on it being his "room mate" that you talked to. I'll bet it was the thief himself you were talking to. Keep calling until you get mom or dad one day. Maybe you can shame him into returning it to you.

Yeah, I am aware that his info was posted. I am the one who posted it. I only was asking of you had any idea about that being a prosecutable crime.
 
When collection agencies try to collect money they contact family members, parents, brothers, sisters, cousins. This does seem to have a significant impact on pressuring the person into at least making contact with the collection services.
 
Well, an update. I emailed our old buddy Kamron, and helped him to understand that he had til noon tomorrow, and I would happily be going forward with the Post Master in his area, and then on to LE. He emailed me in no time flat. Evidently somebody else on here has called and made a few threats. He said he "would go to the police station". I laughed, I then encouraged him to do so. I told him that they would love to know about his fraudulant activities. He refernced "me and my buddies". What a fool. We shall see.

So again, call call call!!!

Start doing some legwork, our work is done as far as removing him from the forum. You and the other people that dealt with him have to follow though. I will repeat again, do not make threads of visiting or anything of the sort. That kind of stupidity will have permanent repercussions.
 
Slow and steady wins the race, use the authorities and I would without seeming like a loon use social media to kindly ask Kamron Ghods to please return the stolen property that was taken through internet fraud. Don't do this , you'll sound crazy. Kamron Ghods is a scammer and a conman . Kamron Ghods is a cheat and has no integrity. Kamron Ghods isn't trustworthy. What if he stole from your family. Your little brother or sister, grandma . not grandma ,yes her too.:p This guy I do believe would take candy from a baby.

Kamron Ghods is a back stabber it would seem. Good luck you guys. I really hope kamron does the right thing, Kamron who ? Ghods . Life is just a mess of choices, the consequences of those choices can make a mess of a life.

We worked out a trade- My ZT 350 for his BM 940. Exchanged pictures- moved forward. Both agreed we liked the swap. He preferred UPS or USPS- so , I go to the local UPS store (Thursday 01/16) - send my knife out ( with his e mail on it) . E mail him, saying I sent mine here is tracking number- how about the same- no response- I e mail again on Fri the 17th. He responds- "Don't worry , I'm sending out today". still no tracking number. Sat passes - I see some other negative feedback on him- I contact UPS, they say I can intercept package and have re-delivered to me, but I have to go to the UPS Store to do that. I go to the UPS store today- I'm 15 mins to late, they delivered package at 8:30 am .

Meanwhile, he sends me an e mail (Sun 19th) saying he had stuff come up, etc, but he will send USPS Priority mail first thing in the am ( that would be today, MLK Day and I know PO is closed.) Says USPS tells him it will be here by 01/25.

So - I e mail him today- telling him I know he has my knife- guess we will see If he is genuine or not.,

I will say- if it goes South- it will be the first bad deal I have had on this forum.

I sure wish it had been on a Kershaw or cheap Spyderco, though !

Update: I spoke with the ostal Inspector today, and they were not exactly thrilled with our little buddy's behaviour. I was instructed to fill out a form, which is on USPS.com, go all the way to the bottom, and hit "postal inpsector". Then go to "file a complaint". Fill out this form.

Those affected need to do this! That way, the load the filthy thief will have to bear, will be nice and heavy.
 
I would love to see someone like this busted by USPS. As many times as I've seen the postal inspector threat brought into these matters, I have yet to see someone post that the thieves were busted. I'm pulling for you guys.

Well, funny enough, armed with my information concerning the USPS, our old buddy Kamron just emailed me a pic of the tracking receipt. We will see what my package contains. Probably a couple of Chinese knock offs, knowing this guy.

Edit: I also just called his number......and talked to his daddy. He acknowledged "kamron is an asshole, and needs to go to jail". LOL Seriously.
He seemed to be reasonable, and was highly pissed that his "dumbass son was involved in this". He also assured me to get to the bottom, and make this right.

So...Scotty, if you are reading this, call that number RIGHT FREAKING NOW!!!!!!

Well, mine may end up ok, too. I got a pic from Kam of a tracking number- with this e mail.

I absolutely loved your ZT0350. The assisted opening was smooth and snappy and the orange G 10 looked fantastic and didn't take any dirt or smudges to it. I'm sorry but I was in a rush to get that package out to you today and had to make a last-minute decision.
I figured it would be best for now if I just sent you your knife back in its original condition.
I am still open to considering a trade and if you send me your username from blade forums I will go ahead and give you some positive feedback. Thank you for being so understanding.

So, at least I am only out 13 bucks for UPS charges, unless what he sends me is some kind of unicorn dust or something. Time will tell, tracking the package , now !
