He figured it would be best for now to send back your knife? That just screams "I never had a damn thing to trade for it and got caught, so heres your knife back".

He seemed to be reasonable, and was highly pissed that his "dumbass son was involved in this". He also assured me to get to the bottom, and make this right.

I absolutely loved your ZT0350. The assisted opening was smooth and snappy and the orange G 10 looked fantastic and didn't take any dirt or smudges to it. I'm sorry but I was in a rush to get that package out to you today and had to make a last-minute decision.

Might I recommend that you two video record the box opening, just as evidence/proof should it contain something other than your original property?
 
If you could arrange to be there for the delivery I would ask the courier to witness the opening of the package in case its another try to defraud you this way the courier if need be can provide a sworn affidavit for charges filed.
 
Scotty and L2Bravo, good on you two for staying on top of this! I have been defrauded before (on the bay, never on Bladeforums) and would up out of a lot of money and it felt terrible and really pissed me off. I hope you guys get your stuff back and this guy gets what he deserves. Good luck!
 
Good idea on the video taping! I will certainly do that.

What is funny, is he still thinks Scotty is his buddy! There is no doubt about our relationship. I pretty well allowed him to understand that he was a piece of crap thief and a liar, and that he pretty well had no place to be indignant when I told him as much. Jeebus man, I have seen some pieces of **it in my life, but this guy has CERTAINLY got to rank in the top 5.

I did write him an email last night, with a follow up today, and let him know if I didn't have a tracking number by noon, it was off to the races for him, with LE. I got a number at 11:30. LOL.

Lesson learned! I don't have tons of feedback or posts, but I have enough, to let somebody know that I am not trash. I am in a trade right now, with a guy with 0 feedback. I have never done so, but asked him to ship first, and relayed this story to him. He understood, and shipped accordingly. I will surely leave him great feedback for having done what was needed to earn his stripes. And Canada, fuggetaboutit. Too man screwings waiting for you there.

I agree about raising unholy hell! But, assuming we are getting our actual knives back......we lucked out like no tomorrow. My instinct, is if we hadn't found his number, and started the phone line route, along with threats of the popo, we'd never see our stuff again. We still have ground to cover, but it has the appearance of working out. Post up Scotty, when you score. I will too.

Edit: No I don't want to go to the mall. And you will most likely get killed there too, with your new boyfriend.
There is NO telling how many people he owes money to, or has screwed! You two love birds are gonna run into the wrong one, and
you are gonna catch a stray buckshot to the wig, when they miss him!

well, surprisingly - i got my knife back today.

Of course, i sent him a knife in a box, with docs, and he sends me nothing but the knife. Dill weed. So, at least got my knife, minus the box & docs, and minus my 13 bucks for UPS.

Lesson learned, no feedback, no trade, unless i get their knife first!

He's a thief, he's not a knife knut. He doesn't understand the traditions, the box and papers mean nothing to him, like the bag you bring home your groceries in. Even the knife doesn't mean anything to him, it's an object, and a chance to put one over on the world.
 
I don't think I could bring myself to throw away one of my knife boxes. The only knives I own that don't have them didn't come with them.

Well well well, me opens me mailbox today, and guess what i found........that's right, my knives. I guess our pal Killa, is anything but. I'm glad to have my stuff back, and learned some lessons. Thanks for the collective thinking guys. It's always great when a pile of good guys get together, for the sake of getting ahead of a piece of garbage. Thanks again guys. I really do appreciate it. Kamron- We all do stupid things (especially when we are younger); that was nice of you to realize that you made a big mistake, & that you made a conscious decision to correct it. I hope that this lesson, will put you back on the righteous path!

He should have put in the money for the shipping costs that he costs these two fellas......that would be trying to learn a lesson and making a wrong right....along with a sincere apology......but ill add that to wish list. I'm guessing this kid learned nothing other than how to do a better job ripping people off in the future and not get cornered so easily. Sure hope I'm wrong.
 
Real happy to see you guys got you're blades back! I too have been following this thread and I had low expectations on your chances to ever see them again. Way to stick with it and put pressure on him. Without that I do not think you would have your items shipped back to you.
 
Beware! Kamron Ghods is currently working Craigslist in the Washington DC Metro area. I posted two knives for sale on Craigslist, he responded indicating that he was interested in buying one of them. He asked if I wanted to trade my for one three of his instead.
 
Craigslist for knives, really? There are far too many freaks, perverts, idiots, and weirdos in general on Craigslist, especially for knives. I mean you have all kinds of venues, forums, ebay, other websites, etc. :thumbdn:
