If at all possible I would avoid this place. It has been over two weeks since I placed my order now and they still will not refund $267.16 that they took from me. I ordered a Spyderco from their site and they automatically took my money out of my account before they even checked to see if they had it in stock (I for one feel this is a questionable [and sleazy] business practice). They then emailed me 2 days later and told me that it wasn't in stock and I could wait for it to be available (which is funny b/c its a discontiuned model) or I could get a refund. I told them I wanted a refund and they acknowledged they would refund the money on the 21st of Feb. Since then I have sent several emails and left several voice mail messages for them but they never respond. This is the worst place I have ever had to deal with. I just called my bank today and they checked my account and said no money had been posted in there yet. I was told by kingofswords that it would take 24-48 hours to process the refund and 2-3 days to show up on my account.... it has been far longer than that now and I am highly annoyed to say the least. I also contacted my bank today and let them know what happened and they will be getting my money back for me but this has still been a horrible experience for me and I hope this post will help others to avoid falling into the same situation as me. From now on I'll be ordering from newgraham.com where I know the people are honest and reliable.
 
I am sorry to hear about the aggravation. In an age of tremendous competition for the consumer dollar, no one should have to go through this.

While it's always a great feeling to give some new business a chance, this whole incident points up the value of dealing with a reliable supplier, even if their competitive pricing isn't absolutely always the very lowest.

You did the smart thing by going to your bank and putting an end to the games they were playing.
 
are they in anyway affiliated with The King of Knives?

because i had a TERRIBLE experience with them. the names just seem to similiar to be cooincidence. dunno well long story short, the manager of king of knives ended up throwing a box of throwing knives at/to me. hehe well i hope it works out for you, thats no small change!

Scott, it's good to see you are willing to face the fire.

The only thing that I would say is that you have to make sure you don't charge people for items that you don't have in stock. When things are busy, mistakes can be made, but this is a real no-no.
 
I finally did get a response from them about 15 minutes after I made the post above. They said that they had just processed my order and it would be 2-3 business days before it shows in my bank account. That makes this just one day shy of being three weeks from the date I placed my order for them to refund my money.

So, it seems you can actually respond to me when I take things public, or are you just making a special exception because I pissed you off when I called you a thief and said I would call the authorities if I didn’t get a response from you (which was after I had emailed and phoned several times with no response). Which is funny because that’s when you actually responded and acknowledged that you would refund my money. You never once replied before I said something about calling the authorities….. seems kind of strange to me unless all of those emails magically went into your spam box but the one about involving the authorities didn’t. And I will admit I did jump to calling you a thief a little quickly but what did you expect when you took the money out of my account before checking to see if you had the product and then not responding to my emails asking when I would be refunded? I feel that you should have returned my money as fast as you took it out (or at least in the amount of time you specified).

Your right. I looked back at my email account and found that the last day you contacted me before yesterday was the 23rd of Feb not the 21st (its not like that really makes any difference though).

I’m going to have to disagree with you there. Nearly 3 weeks for a refund from a product you didn’t even have in stock is not timely IMO. Even if you were going through high volume sales, the amount of time you took to refund my money seems a bit ridiculous to me. However, maybe I am just highly impatient and 3 weeks isn’t that long at all to wait to everyone else.

I will give you some credit though for actually coming here to defend yourself (maybe your not as bad as I think you are and I just caught you at a bad time).

Like Quiet Storm I would also like to hear you elaborate and tell your side of the story. I would be very interested in hearing it and I’m not being sarcastic. Perhaps I’ve totally misjudged you, but so far the above post has not changed my mind.

I almost forgot. I also called before I placed my order and asked for them to make sure they had the item in stock before I ordered and I was told "If the item is on our website it is available because we update it every 24 hours". I placed an order on May 1st, 2008. It is now April 8th, I never recieved the merchandise. I left msg by phone and email with no responce from them. I have already filed a fraud case with my credit card company, the BBB of Atlanta, Ga, and with rip off reports and anywhere else I can find to do a review of them. He is a thief!!!

They are only shitmen.
 
I assume English is not your primary language but did you get your money back? Why did you notify the police; did they refuse to give you a refund and/or what have they done that made this criminal?

I ordered some gifts for my buddies from this seller, King Of Swords in December, 2008. LONG story short, I got ripped off $102.06...this idiot who runs the place seems to have a LONG history of ripping people off, and I should have done some research on this seller before committing to purchase.

I already filed a complaint with the GA BBB, as well as "one other place" that will hopefully place this @$$wipe in Pre-Trial Orange...I am amazed this guy has been ripping people off for SO LONG and nothing has been done about it. Try doing a search on google and you'll see what I mean...

The guy did his homework I gotta say on screwing people. However, should he end up where I hope he does, he'll be on the receiving end for sure...bastard. What comes around, goes around.

I think it safe to assume that he never got his money back either. What makes this seller a criminal can be summed up in two words: INTERNET FRAUD.

But like I said, f*cker did his homework and the GA BBB better be doing more than trying to call this "shitmen"...he never answers, only responds in empty promise emails...:mad:

I tried that with my CC, and they told me I could not dispute, nor get a reversal of charges since the thief took out the money already.:mad: I canceled my CC immediately...who knows what "shitmen" like this can do with such info!!!:mad:
