Unfortunately under the current time table, I am forced to pull out of this year's kith. I have been unable to find any more time amongst the other work I have now. Thank you H Hubert S. for putting this year's kith together.

Sorry to hear that, it looked like you were almost done with your knife six weeks ago. I was looking forward to seeing it finished. Well, there is always next year!

I am also on a tight schedule with two upcoming weekends abroad on wedding parties. Hoping to put extra hours after work to finish the kith blade.

Got hand sanding done and picked out my scales. Using curly narra and brass Corby bolts. I will also have G-10 liners but haven’t decided what color. Probably either black or white. Still plenty of opportunity for me to mess it up still and I’ve got a few things that aren’t exactly what I wanted but so far, I’m still on track to finish in time.

I hope you can make it. How much work do you have left?

I shaped the handle for my blade last night, just have to go through the grits and glue the blade in.

I have just a hardened blade. 😂 But my fiance is out of town so with three afternoon/evenings in the shop I could make it. One session for grind/belt finish/etching, one for handle and gluing and one for finish work.

Sounds like a plan.

Crunch time. With just over one week left, we have three knives completed: N Nick-D , CDHumiston CDHumiston and Donny_D88 Donny_D88 . There are three more that only need some finishing touches: J Justin W , K Kevin Kf knives and myself.

I am hoping A A. Matthews , Joshua Fisher Joshua Fisher and FredyCro FredyCro will have one ready as well.

T TheEdge01 and Travis Talboys Travis Talboys said they're out, and Fish30114 Fish30114 has not logged into the forum since July.
I may need a little extra time. I just need to shape and finish the handle, then sharpen, but I missed last week and this week is crazy busy. Luckily, cocobolo doesn't seem to take very long to finish, I just need to find the time.
