I said "I'm in" already, I wanted to say I started to make the KITH knife, design made, profile cut, today started to grind the bevels. It will be fancy a bit and my first wire inlay project so I started early...
 
I have the blade sanded up to 1000grit. It's ready to be send off for hardening.
If the handle will come out as good as the drawing, it will be something nice :)
 
I'm in. I'll have one done by 12-01-09. This is my first year but it sounds like fun..

It was a ton of fun waiting for that package to arrive last year.
 
Just a reminder to all to make sure you send me an email with your info .

Posting on this thread is fine, but the list of names and addresses is of those who sent me an email. I'll probably double check against this thread to make sure there are no makers who slipped through the cracks. The list is getting bigger every day.

Even if you haven't e-mailed me, you can join in anytime up to the final day of completion ( Dec. 1,2009). The knives need to be boxed and ready for a shipping label on Dec.1,2009.

Got mine started today. Got some of Aldo's 1" round W2 hammered down to a billet. All's left is to make a knife out of it.
