Just pulled the trigger on one from BHQ.
Just wandering what to expect, and how well members liked their 5404a2, and what they did not like.
Its an awesome looking piece for $104.95!
 
I don't have that particular model, but I do have 3 Kizer folders, and every single one is excellent quality. Fit and finish are perfect, and so far their s35v has really impressed me.

I'm trying to resist dropping the hammer on another Kizer in that sale as well. :)

Shucks, I figured s35vn, G10, Titanium - for $105? Yeah, I'll certainly take my chances. I have a ZT 562CF, but I'm thinking this Kizer will be more like the ZT 561. - Which is cool, because I really like the 561.
 
Thanks for the heads up on the sale. I just ordered my first Kizer, a Ki4421A2. I guess it's time I try one out. :)

I thought the same! all that for $105 why the heck not right? except there're a few more sub-$100 ones as well to make u conflicted.. damn

I'll probably get the smaller vg-10 ones.

I have the 4401A which is the 3.5" version. very well constructed with quality materials. but the action is no where as smooth as the 561 for sure. Smoothness is more like a zt 0200, both using bronze bushings, but the kizer flips way better.

lucky you! I'm still waiting for my 562cf that's on preorder for months now, hope I don't lose interest by then.

I don't know if I should thank you or curse you. Order placed. I'm a sucker for big folders and, though I don't love frame locks, $105 for 4.25" of S35VN is too good to pass up. Ah well, I'd been wanting to try a Kizer anyway.
 
Any clue when the sale will end? I have had a Kizer on order elsewhere for about 2 weeks but BladHQ has it in stock for $40 less! This truly is a great sale!

It's a blowout sale. I think those are discontinued products, so some will sell close to the dealer price. At least the ones that are too cheap to be true...
 
I ll look at that sale . I ve been looking at Kizers since last year s Blade Show. Haven t bought one yet.

Their newsletter refers to the 20 Kizer models on sale as 'Closeout", which usually means "until they are gone".
 
I just bought a Kizer Ki412A2 because of this thread. Less then half the original price.....hard to say no to that. S35 and titanium for that price.........wish I could get that kind of pricing on all my folders.

Cool. I should have. - Would have if I hadn't depleted my knife fundage on Spydies. And, with what Sal has coming out this year, its gonna be a costly year :)

A very good deal on the Kizers for sure. But you are right, Spyderco is going to be hard on the wallet this year. :D
