Knife and Watch combo. Let's see them!

Super watch! In the US these are sleepers but fantastic pieces. I’m staring down a HOLTON AUTO GMT: NIVO 101-A23 right now and don’t know how long I can resist!

Agreed. I've been very pleased with that Holton. The movement is solid and reliable. The fit and finish is quite good. The Nivo looks great as well, and is what I would have gotten if I hadn't snagged the 101-A21. 👍

Made in Japan. :)

The Lunar Pilot is a deceptively large watch that is actually very wearable. Anyone on the fence ought to check it out in person--you might be surprised. I wear mine often.

Bulova Lunar Pilot and Hogue EX-01 3.5"

I've come close to snagging a Lunar Pilot many times. Mainly for the cool history and the design, even though I'm not really that drawn to chronos in general.

I'm with you on the chronos, Hammer. I don't have much practical use for a chronograph feature in my day-to-day. For me, it's mostly an aesthetic--if I don't like the look, it's just clutter that I'd rather not have. If I really needed a stopwatch feature, I'd go for the convenience of a digital watch.

If you dig the space theme, I'd also check out the Seiko Speedtimer. I have one in black that gives off some serious Omega Moonwatch vibes, but it also comes in the Col. William Pogue colour scheme. I find having a solar quartz or two in my collection super convenient for grab-and-go watch swaps.
