Knife conspiracies, lies, and Deceptions

Some of you guys must not be married too long.

After 24 years my wife doesn't even ask anymore.

I compair it to how much she spends on plants and other gardening associated expenses, my knives are also cheaper.

Ive been known to get it dirty and put it in a box or bag in the closet, car etc...and say "look what I found!...or I wondered where this went!" And ideally I can time it so she finds it and then I give her a big hug and she feels good. Trying to work on a pavlovian response thing.

One of the advantages of having a knife shop is that I can say that it's for product research. And since I won't carry anything in the shop I wouldn't be willing to use myself, it's always true. :D
 
Lately, I've been telling my family that my packages contain sharpening/cleaning supplies and I make sure to note that they are all cheap.
My cigar habbit has been taking the heat for the past 4 years though.
 
I'm currently single which IMO, is the best way to avoid all this. :D However, my ex girlfriend didn't seem to care much about my knife collecting. I guess she figured "pocket knives" aren't very expensive items. She just never got why I always carried a knife....and that's why shes my ex. :rolleyes::D
 
for me its all good coz my wife is overseas..nobody to check the bank account and stuff..hahaha
 
I was married for a long time but have been divorced for years now. My significant other does not live with me and she does not really consider it of interest to give her opinion on my hobbies. As the man said, she has hers and I have mine. My kids, modern ladies as they are, have in the past inquired about my knife and gun collection. I told them that there is a radio program that sometimes plays in my head and instructs me to buy cutlery or to go to the gun range and practice. They no longer ask me such questions.
 
The axe I bought my wife just showed up today (finally!)

Just convert them to the cause as well.:)
 
So what I gather is I need to either find a new hobby, find a new girl, be single or open up a knife shop, or have guys hold my package haha....well I guess I'm going to open a knife shop guys!

My wife and I have been together for 25 years and married for 16 years...she just chooses to ignore the madness now. :D
