I found these pictures online and just had to share.

The seller is asking about $100 over list for these 'engraved' knives.

Truly, er, unique work.

Anybody got more pictures to share in this, er, genre?

Thumb screw?! Is that meant to be decorative, or part of some field takedown strategy? o_O
I have absolutely no clue as to why anybody would put that on there.

Its a pic from an eflay auction.

Your guess is as good as mine.

People on the Spyderco forum have been speculating but I dont think anybody came up with a definitive answer.
The auction/seller didnt divulge any clues as to purpose.

Wow! The "artist" actually signed their name to that! It may indeed be considered art by some, but it sure doesn't add value!

Why oh why. Anyway I seen a really bad modder also use alot of clip art on knives. That and his mirror edges are not real mirrors what so ever.

Oh man I cringe every time this guy mods a knife over 600 doll hairs.

too each their own. id pass on both.......

Obviously I'm the minority, I don't think it's horrible.

Starting a thread to mock a custom engraver's work seems quite boorish; if something you see offends your aesthetic tastes just ignore it and move on, posting it here to get mocked at the expense of the creator is not in the spirit of this forum, in my opinion.
