I plan to live forever. Is there anyone who is close to you who you think will appreciate it being in the package after you're gone?
Oh shoot... That's a good idea too.Perhaps display it over your leather working bench in your shop
I definitely bought it to open and use, but it does look cool in the packaging. That said, what prompted YOU to buy it?
I may have another knife or two laying around somewhere. If you already have other knives you use why not leave this one in the package?
Yes, I definitely would. I like these cheaper knives that remind me of my childhood. If you found it without the original blister pack, would you have purchased it?
Lol...engrave "FLIPPER BAIT" on the clip blade
It's Imperial of Ireland.who made red ryders btw?
Lol...I think the bigger dilemma is how would you even get it out of that package, since the knife is inside!
I had actually thought of that... Great minds. Its a Sherriff Woody V Stinky Pete scenario.
Bought an old knife in the package at a gun show. Probably at least as old as that one. I slit the back just enough to pull the knife out, but kept the package. I just had to handle the knife!
I thought of that too, but none are out there.Keep that one new in package and buy a second one to use.
When young, I'd've ripped it from the package, and put the package in the trash.Ask yourself a single question : what would you have done if you'd get it when you were a youngster.
Then, remember you've grown up.![]()
