Knife Fit For a Rock Musician?

Since when do rockstars care about what's legal? My buddy's carried a Bali for 15 years and they've only been legal in Texas for the last couple.

If you're really concerned though I'd look at a Cold Steel Ti-Lite. Full greaser stiletto look, without that "deadly" spring. Perfectly legal in most places. Stretch your budget a bit and go for the g-10 model with the xhp steel.

Rock star by night, medicine and law enforcement by day...laws have to be followed.

Hope this helps, rock on.

:,D Priceless!

Cold Steel large Espada with polished G-10 and bolsters.
Big shiny, and one could snort a truly epic amount of cocaine off the blade. ;)
(I had a friend who worked stage and sound for rock concerts...seems cocaine is a big part of it for many. Too bad she got sucked into the drug lifestyle too...I miss that girl. :( )

I saw a pic in rolling stone of the Boss in his house. Next to him was a small table full of slip joints, many slip joints. So there's that. Keith Richards is known to carry a ratchet knife. Just some examples off top of my fat old head. My bro in law has toured all over the planet with a BM in his pocket for the last 17 yrs.

I can see Springsteen being a slipjoint guy, working class ideals and all that, remembering where he came from.
But the Real Rock Star, Elvis A. Presley only carried a revolver!

I decided to go with a Victorinox Electrician and a CRKT Titanium M16-13, with a Skeletool in my pack for instrument repairs :)

Only pro rocker/soundman I know carries a 2 blade electrician/lineman type, or a 4 blade camp knife. Says they are great for setting up.

I DROOL over balisongs...too bad I can't own one in Wisconsin :(

You might want to double check legality in WI. Walker is scheduled to sign the bill legalizing autos today. I think it also legalizes balisongs, but I'm not positive on that.

The people suggesting the Benchmade 710 are definitely on to something. It's got heft and solidity, but also an undeniable fluidity to its style.

I've been waiting for that signature! How do you know it's today?

Well, a "Rock-STAR" denotes someone who has excelled in the rock (music) industry, to the point of becoming a star, and thus one would assume is financially capable of higher end purchases provided the coke and escort services haven't ruined his/her wallet...

That said, for a Rock-Star, why not a Rock-Stead!?
