Knife Fondling?

Well, I was manipulating my BenchMade 62 but it decided to "make its mark" across my thumb so now I'm left-handed flipping a BRS Alpha Beast (my wife thinks I'm an idiot )

I relate it to a sort of nervous tick of sorts I guess. Just like a person that repeatedly clicks a pen, over and over.

The word is tic, and actuating a knife doesn't have to be related to nervousness. Some just enjoy working the action of the knife. It seems to annoy you, but different strokes, etc.

Spyderco Caly3 CF alternating with ZT 0560, each has its own merit. The caly3 for speed and variations of opening and the 0560 for that satisfying THUNK!

Straight guy here no fondling going on in front of this screen. I have no desire to sit and play with my knives however I randomly pick a couple up and open and close them a few times a few times a week. Like others I have concerns about the wear too.

I don't fondle knives. If you want to call me a liar, so be it. But I don't. One hand is almost petting my bull mastiff.

I'm not literally calling you a liar. It was to be a joke. I am aware that not everyone flicks their knives open all the time. I don't do it all the time either, a good bit of the time I spend just looking at them.

I fondle mine all the time, I find eucerne lubricates without drying out the skin. You see, the key is to use proper helmet care and work the vein with your thumb unti.......oh wait.....we're talking knives.

I fondle my SWORD all the times. You bed wetting bitches need to quite carrying little pussy folding knives and carry like a MAN!!

Trust me, if it weren't highly frowned upon, I'd have a 12 gauge slung around my back and i'd love to EDC a sword.
