Knife for dress pant carry?

Klotzli knives are another nice option similar to William Henry. They are a little hard to find, but used ones can be had for around $150

+1 on William Henry (E6). Fits all of your desired characteristics except for the silver pocket clip--though the clip is deep carry/very low profile. 2.75" blade, featherweight at a little over 1 ounce, extremely portable, appropriate for dress pants. Not a heavy duty knife though, if that's a factor.

I wear suit pants everyday of work. My rotation is
Mandi
Small sebenza insingo
Benchmade shoki
Strider PT
Case peanut

All sit in the bottom of my pocket. I don't do clips at work.

No one mentioned Benchmade 940 series?
My 943 is a feather rocking s30v and a cool blue spacer

The 943 is a brick of a paperweught compared to a WH.

So are the Spydercos mentioned

The Shoki/Shori/Megumi Benchmades can compete but they can't match the quality of WH.

Just skip all this hamburger and go straight to the Porterhouse...

A Case Peanut.

At 2-7/8" closed it fits easily in your pocket, no clip needed. Handles everything from opening the mail to dressing a moose. AND it's the Official Knife of Seal Team 6. (I read it on the internet so it must be true.)

Budget would help a lot with this question, but some excellent suggestions have been made already. I have a small sebenza in my dress pant pocket right now, there is also the Mnandi if you want classy locking folders. I would like to +1 the William Henry Edc knives- small light and great all around knives! Then there are slipjoints.........

+1 on any of the sage series! I really like the deep pocket clip. I carry my ukpk, and my sage 3 the most with dress pants.

Al-Mar SLB...light with smooth micarta scales, short and sharp..fits all requirements..short blade but works very well in dress slacks.
