Knife for dress pant carry?

I don't have and have never handled a William Henry yet so I can't comment on those. The best one I have in my rotation is this guy:

I have several "gentlemen's" knives I have to choose from. Any of these are useful and non-threatening to sheeple. While most are two handed openers, tactical isn't needed at dinner.

The last time I wore dress pants, I carried my Para2 satin/digicamo that was RIT dyed dark red.

For the office-guy who isn't really a knife-guy, I'd recommend the Spyderco Gayle Bradley AIR, which comes with M4 steel, is awfully light @ 2 oz, but has no pocket clip. Carry it fully concealed in your pocket or in a small leather slip-case.

I carry my PM2 everyday (in uniform) clipped inside my waistband on my right hip with the clip under my belt. Hard to spot, but still easy enough to deploy.

I CCW in that spot when off base/out of uniform so it's pretty natural and comfortable for me.

Benchmade 470, 586, 707 come to mind. Call/email a request for a deep carry clip for a 810BK and you'll be able to really keep them out of sight.

Welcome to the forum and thank you for your service!

I carry a benchmade 530 when I wear slacks. Light, black clip. Won't tear up your pants. Hardly notice its there.

I love mine with the carbon fiber, very classy and really makes it a whole new knife

So an old post with a good topic, any other ideas for a good knife for dress pants?

Just skip all this hamburger and go straight to the Porterhouse...

A Case Peanut.

At 2-7/8" closed it fits easily in your pocket, no clip needed. Handles everything from opening the mail to dressing a moose. AND it's the Official Knife of Seal Team 6. (I read it on the internet so it must be true.)

Totally agree with the Peanut. It's what I carry in dress pants and truth be told, it's really all I ever need.

I'm searching for a pocket clip knife to wear with dress pants.

Black clip needed (one that will not tear up my dress pants), handle needs to be smooth (again to prevent damage), needs to be light and sharp.

Ideas?
Cold Steel Tuff Lite. I wore dress pants today; just dropped it in my pocket. I was able to forget that it was there.

I know its not a one hander but for those occasions, I have carried the Tuff Lite as Jeremy suggested. But the one knife that's the perfect stealth and basically weightless is the Falkniven U2
