Knife guessing game ( based on description ) now guessing fixed blades

I was stuck on "tasting" I was about to start naming some kitchen cutlery .

This next one is something I look for on occasion but never pulled the trigger... This USA based manufacture went out of business around 2004, but carries on in namesake under a conglomeration of brands. If you need to be bailed out of trouble this knife could be pressed into service. I believe they were fairly common pre 1950 before Uncle Sam had something to say.

I'm not 100% sure on the dates... give or take a bit of years.

that would be the Shcrade ( formerly the push button knife company ) paratroopers knife, designed to free a stuck paratrooper and used during ww2.

You got it, your turn.

Schrade presto - my limited understanding is the paratrooper models are not the one's to get because the springs are weaker because they were designed for one use and throw away. I don't know if that's true. The regular runs of schrade prestos interest me.

I was going to suggest CIGAR Whittler but that's always three blades. Unless there's a Half-Whitt Cigar...:D

Seems like "smoking" has something to do with a Cigar pattern or Pipe Knife. I think Pipe Knives normally have a spear and a tool... or a spear/tool/pen.. Pipe Knife?

I wouldn't have gotten this one in a million years (don't even think I could have gotten it with Google, which I've used for some of them). And I don't have any idea about H&S's current smoker riddle. But I sure am learning a lot in this thread!!:D

I may have given a bad one this time so I'm gonna give it to will power as he was close.
I was thinking of a cigar pattern jack, which is a pretty non specific knife pattern ( they have come with match strike nail pulls )
I prolly shoulda mentioned that they can have a clip blade is a spearpoint.
The specific knife I was picturing was an old biker that I saw somewhere.

Sorry for dropping the bomb on this one guys.
I guess it's will powers turn

A 2 bladed knife that is usually of the smaller type, it could be useful for the ironing...

not sure if this one has been done.
Two blades, opens at each end, generally an equal end cigar shape, around 4 1/8 to 4 1/4 inches closed.
Named for a (yummy) mis-named critter with antlers.

There's this knife I've seen that has a clip blade on each end and looks like a set of longhorns when uts open, but I don't know what it's called or if there even it.

To clarify.. so not to throw everyone off. This is not the "game question".. I'm just replying. Are you thinking about a GEC Muskrat?
