Knife guessing game ( based on description ) now guessing fixed blades

Well that is a beauty, Railsplitter. I hope this slows you guys down:
This equal ended pen knife was a favorite of H.W. Bush and a WWII general.

Man that's an awesome little knife ( not my color though )
How have I never see them before.
If they made one in orange synthetic or green bone with a cv blade I would make it a mission to own one.

Oh yeah! Orange Synthetic would get my attention too.

I hope to stump you folks one of these days but I think this one will be guessed quickly.

Single Clip blade. Curved frame. Barehead design. Usually has a rat tail bolster but not always. Designed by a custom knife maker for a friend of his. Reproduced by numerous other custom makers. Also reproduced by a well known production maker. Around 4 inches closed. (I'm not sure of the actual size) Very popular pattern. You might own one yourself. I wish I did.

This small knife, pockets well. A real tall glass. But don't let it's small size fool you, it packs a lot of "Pop".

Just for fun, here's a list of the post numbers that contain "puzzles", with their answers beside them. Asterisks indicate repeats (kind of subjective).

Thanks for that list GT, that was awesome of you to do that.👏👏👏👏
Repeats are no big deal, but now thanks to you there's no excuse.

I don't think the repeats are a problem, because the "riddles" are usually quite different for each time that a particular pattern shows up. And sometimes a riddle is about a general pattern and other times about a specific example of that pattern made by a particular company, another interesting distinction, in my opinion. Anyway, it was fun for me to review all the puzzles that have appeared so far, and interesting to see the variable lengths of "gaps" in number of posts between consecutive puzzles (as a rough measure of how easy or hard the puzzle was). I'm also surprised at how long this thread has lived; I'd have never predicted it would be going strong at almost 400 posts!:thumbup:

New riddle, let's see: Oo-la-la, this is a long, slender, attractive knife, but it's kind of buggy!
