Knife Manufacturers that are not talked about much?

I'm very surprised also.

I know i'm new here, but i have been searching for quite awhile for the knife i really want, a real keeper and one i would never want to let go.

Its one of the reasons i joined here, but i also just recently found out this forum existed.

Not only am i searching for the knife of my dreams..i also want to someday soon forge my own blade, but at the moment nothing has really caught my eye until i saw the Dylan Farnham(Sage Blades) website.

His blades are amazing and the art work is simply fantastic.
I can't wait to order one from him.
He's awesome to work with. Super cool person.

I have to add Enigma. For those who like slipjoint knives, they offer something really good. Very light weight, very thin grinds on the blades, and they use M390 and US2000MC (essentially the same as CPM-Cruwear).

I was just scrolling through to see if TRC got a mention. Great knives.

Good thread Whitty

TRC is by far my favorite fixed blade manufacturer. When it comes to folders the competition is pretty though and I have a really hard time to pick a favorite but fixed blades? TRC has great sheaths, great choice of (super)steals and fair pricing combined with excellent build quality. Hard to beat them.

as a Canadian, it would be a crime not to mention 2 of our better mfgs:

traditional: Grohmann out of Nova Scotia
newer: North Arm Knives out of BC

Well, being Norwegian I have to mention Brusletto and Helle. Helle is fairly well known in the fixed blade world, but for me, Brusletto is the favorite of the two.

Edit: quick mention to Strømeng, for their big "choppers".
