Knife or Death

Good on ya Jeannie because you showed up and did your thing. The course and the height of some of those targets and obstacles just benefits taller men with longer blades better! You adjusted really well on those sugar canes

Oh and Bill also anointed you the All American Girl :)

 I agree. Both ladies did very well IMHO.

Those are tough chickens.

I'll guarantee you one thing, when ol Jonny's up, you won't be able to pry the results outta me, even if you offered to give me a free Behemoth.

Well, let's not get carried away here. :)

This reminds me of a funny story. Many, many moons ago my wife and I moved to FL. Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy were opposite what they were where my parents watched them. If I had to talk to Mom, I might wait to call and give her the final Jeopardy answer. o_O Mom passed unexpectedly and I don't think we ever did tell dad.
Casinostocks, maybe that's where I got it from?

Congrats to all competitors!
Way to represent MTM!
Great job adjusting on the double cuts and it was awesome to see what you and the MC did to that ice block!!!
I’ll have to agree the course seems skewed to give advantage to longer blades, swords actually.
If I was to compete on KOD and a CPK sword was not available, I think I’d have to get something from Julian Antunes.

Nathan is secretly working on a G14 classified Greek Kopis or Xiphos.

Jeannie (and Jonny), I was wondering if you could post pics of what your edges looked like after your runs? I didn't see any gravel filled buckets this season, but I'd still like to see how the edges held up.

Very minimal edge damage. Mine had a little more than Jeannie's, but I was swinging a lot harder too. I sharpened all of the little micro dings and flat spots out of that knife in one or two sharpening sessions. Edge is pristine now and even sharper than factory! Once my run has aired, I'm sure Nathan will chime in with his thoughts.

Thank you! That sugar cane was totally unexpected with having to slice the falling piece a second time. It took two tries to figure out the right technique. Lol!

And yeah, the All-American Girl nixed by the All-American Chicken. Lol!

Thank you! I should have stepped up closer, but I was so pumped at that time. I just didn’t slow down and focus on it as well as I should have.

MarriedTheMedic MarriedTheMedic , Jeannie you were awesome! The courses so far this season are a lot tougher than Season1. Way to go!!! And you looked Bad Ass!!!

Awww...thank you so much, Jo! I hate that they cut out the knife maker’s name this season. I was trying to represent for you guys!

Congratulations to all the competitors! Watching it right now; thinking that you are all badass’s!

Thanks, Mike!

Thanks, Odog! The ice block was my favorite part! :)

Great Job Jeannie!!!!:thumbsup::cool:

Thanks, Tommy!

I’ll have to wait until I’m off on Saturday night to watch it. Anyway, congrats Jeannie! I’m sure you were awesome!

Thank you!

Good job MTM. Man I was pulling for ya and watching it was fun but dang that poultry!
That sugar cane looked tricky.
Dang chicken! Lol! Thanks, Justin!

Awesome run Jeannie! I thought you did great and it was good to see more women on the show.

Now that being said do yall think KFC and Chick fil a have way less knife loving customers yet? ... Damn that chicken!

Thanks, JJ! I’m still going to love my Chick-fil-a! :D

I dunno if I heard it correctly or what not, but aside from the contestants who purportedly made their own knives, I hear a couple of other makers' names here and there. When Jeannie mentioned the Medium Chopper, it kinda sounded to me that something was edited out and now her explanation makes sense!

Definitely edited. When I introduced the knife, I said “Carothers Performance Knives Medium Chopper”.
