Knife to pair with my new gun.

A Buck 119. A clip point Bowie and a revolver go hand-in-hand IMUO.
Next, get a lever action rifle in .357 and you're set to be a modern day cowboy!

Nothing wrong with matching a gun and knife. I understand that these are tools and they are not supposed to be a "fashion statement", however some of us are more anal about things than others and I for one like to match up my CC pistols and knives with the type of clothing I'm wearing. Even though no one will see these items, hence the concealment, I still like to know that everything is looking good. Also it gives me a reason to carry all my pistols and knives rather than just carrying the same one every single day. Different strokes for different folks.

I'm fat, slow and have short arms. I'm not sure a karambit will do me any good.

Like most of us, I have a bunch of knives. All of which do what I need them to: cut stuff. So yeah, I just want something that looks good next to the gun.

I like you, you seem honest.

I suggest a Buck 110 with S30V blade, nickel bolsters and water buffalo scales.

LOL! Yep, ol' Twisted has an honest forum moniker alright.

Sometimes we get to the point that we've owned so many knives, have so many knives, given away so many knives that you just have to introduce some criteria that's never been used before.

Matched a new hunting knife to a new hunting rifle once. Tikka 695 in stainless/synthetic. Bought a stainless scope, black Uncle Mikes sling with the little loops that hold extra rounds, and actually bought that ammo with the silver case and black bullets to put in the loops. Looked bad as hell.

Never got to fire it in anger. Kept it at work one hunting season and had a break-in. Buddy and I both lost our rifles.

Still had the old Kershaw Wildcat Ridge that matched it though. Or was it the Cold Steel Clip-Mate? Anyways...

You go, Twisted... I'm 100% supportive of this type of selection criteria. Get a belt with a chrome buckle to match as well!

The first thing I thought of with this gun is a Benchmade 581! The bolster would just go perfect!

Then how about the Espada XL? Not only is it color coordinated, but I think carrying a small gun with a huge knife would make a unique statement.:D

I wonder if one of those spiffy new pocket sheaths Derrick's selling at KnivesShipFree is small enough to work for a 110. I had one as a kid and loved it, but that was before my pockets had been taken over by enormous key fobs and dining table sized cell phones. I can't stand having stuff on my belt so the 110 has been overlooked. If it can be held in a pocket sheath that affixes like a clipped knife however... Maybe.

Collector Knives has some leather pocket sheaths with clips. Bought one for my GEC #42 and it works well.
First thing I thought of when I saw the pistol was a stainless Delica, Endura, or Police. Stainless knife to match stainless revolver. The Titanium/Damascus Delica is another option that I think would go well. IMO, it goes well with just about anything.

Large sebenza 21. I finally bought one a few months ago and am glad I finally did. Love everything about it.

Ok so we have a J frame which is small. I think a smaller knife then. Your rocking a pro series gun so a high quality knife is in order. Lastly you have 357 horsepower. The obvious choice would be either a ZT 0900 or the 0450.

If you can find a (discontinued) Buck 110 Lochsa, s30v

It comes with a reversible LH/RH pocket clip and thumstuds for 1 handed opening...
Blows my mind that they haven't made that a standard option on customizable 110's (yet), considering you're building it custom anyhow, and they can adequately charge extra for the option to cover the additional labor....

For self defense I always like paring a small fixed blade with a CCW. Put the knife of my non gun side. The kbar TDI Law Enforcement is ideal and a mean little knife. Another great option is any of the emerson wave spydercos and the mantra 2. Mantra 2 is crazy sharp and with that extra fine tip tears through most anything.

My first thought was "Classic gun deserves a classic blade". Buck 110 (or smaller Buck) or Case. The one difference I'd make is a black g10 scale to match what you have. If you want go wood or bone handles, then you scramble to replace the pistol grips.

Like eon blue, a custom Buck 110 (or other custom Buck, you can customize a smaller knife at their website). I like the nickel bolster, finger grooves, S30V blade but I'd go with G10 over water buffalo.

How about an Emerson Gentleman Jim, or an Al Mar Eagle HD?

Otherwise, I like the PM2. You can get wood scales from some custom makers, I believe.
