Knife Values / Prices

No problem on the thread drift, grayzer; it is all related. There are some good customers out there too. I have made knives for 2 customers who told me what they wanted, didn't haggle on price, told me to take my time, just call them when it was ready. I sent them update pictures by email to keep them interested and let them know I was working on their knives. I hope both of them are repeat customers. :)

And Nate, I almost sprayed Coke all over my tablet when I read your "never shake a baby" comment.
 
I have been fortunate since this thread started. I have received a lot of good feedback on my knives, and am seeing design strengths and weaknesses. I have four orders at material costs plus a little bit for my time, and have no haggling on price. Once I get my Rockwell tester, I will rethink my pricing. I am enjoying this immensely and people are enjoying the knives. I have learned a lot from this thread. Thank you everybody.
