Knife wall of shame

Ouch...that "pen" blade actually looks dangerous to open- especially if it is sharp at all!

I have to say, I'm not sure what I'm going to do with this one Ernie! :D

Not mine, but I saw it on eBay the other day and thought, "I'm going to take a picture of that, it will come in handy some day." I love the description. "Great condition, some wear." Lol

Sometimes I wonder if people think "sharpening a knife" entails holding it flat against a spinning grinder and hoping for the best...

I can actually safely open the "pen" blade on this Keen Kutter with what's left of the nick and I have carried this knife before. The bone still looks good and the pen blade makes an excellent box-cutter.

This brass-handled Southington is "wicked shahp". :D

This Remington may have gone beyond "knife" into ice pick territory with the secondary blade.

This Wadsworth Barlow does look XLNT closed but the blade has surely seen better days.

I've got a few travesties in my Fix'em Up box at home that might fit well in this thread, I'll check later.

A couple more...

I believe this Crucible scout knife once had a spear blade...

This Pal's previous owner certainly was no pal to this knife.

It's not just the big boys that face abuse. It's a fact of life for all our fine edged friends.

I'm not sure how you can break the tip without breaking the whole thing at the pivot.

There's no end to the shame :(

That is quite a group there Jack:D

Yes indeed, I probably have twice as many wrecks I haven't photographed! :o :D

Jack, a little elbow grease and those will clean right up. :D

LOL! :D That's exactly the sort of thing I hear from market-traders and antique dealers! That or, 'It just needs a couple of new blades'! :D

Sweet collection Jack.

The first one looks like someone wanted a tanto.

Do you know what the blades on the Wade & Butcher were suppose to be?
