Thanks Tim, yes indeed! Here's what it looks like now, ADEE did some work on the blade for me, it's never going to be a looker, but at least it cuts now!
The Wade & Butcher is a WW2 British Army Clasp Knife, with a Sheepsfoot blade and a can-opener. How on earth anyone managed to break the can-opener like that, I have no idea, they're built for opening Panzers! It still doesn't have any play at the pivot though! It wouldn't be hard to find a spare can-opener, indeed I have a couple of dozen similar knives from other manufacturers, but the 'Wade & Butcher' stamp is on the can-opener blade, rather than the Sheepsfoot, which is unstamped (almost all clasp knives of the period are the same).
