I have lost 2 of cheap pocket knives and Buck 25th Anniversary Ranger Knife. I don´t remember anymore where and when I lost it but that Buck still hurts my heart:(

Only lost one knife that I know of, but there could be others that I havent realized yet. It was a case pen knife with scissors and clip point blade; lost it in a grass field at school somewhere and never found it.
Also thought I lost a benchmade 530 during a move, but found out almost a year later that my cousin had "borrowed" it without asking. By this time I had given up the knife as lost, so I just ended up retroactively gifting it to him.

I have lost several knives while working at the ranch but not in a good while. Most were folders that worked their way out of my pocket when doing physical stuff like putting up fences. I also had a fixed blade that came out of the sheath and was nowhere to be found. The fixed blade was an Izula and I think that when going through heavy brush something caught on the hole in the handle or the attached lanyard and pulled it out. The folders included a GEC Bullnose, Spyderco Delica, Kershaw Leek and Puma Huntec. Fortunately none were expensive knives on their own but when you add them up it hurts a bit.

3 so far. First my original little pen knife. No idea what happened to that one. Then, a Victorinox Classic that slipped out of that useless 5th pocket on my jeans one day. A couple of years after that, I was dumb enough to put a Gerber Dime in that lousy pocket and the same thing happened to it that happened to the Classic. I put nothing in that pocket now.

I lost more Knives then I can remember back in my dock building days, iver the deck and into tbe "drink".
mostly Buck and Gerber since i liked Knives but knew little about them back then, strictly name recognition and availability back then. Also utility Knives, sockets, wrenches, ratchets, cell phones, and an echo chainsaw. Ah the good ol' days.

I lost a Benchmade 710 for about 2 weeks but found it under the rear car seat. I was so happy, it felt like it was a new knife again.

Other than that the only ones I've lost have been under 30 dollars so I'm not complaining. I put them up after I'm playing with them and know where they're at; at all times and roughly check my pockets every so often so the doesn't happen.

Lost an old cross Victorinox electrician.
Still have no idea where it went. :(

I lost the Benchmade 300 NS the day after I bought it. I wasn't too thrilled.

A CTS-204P para 2 Sprint on a 20 mile hike, and a cpm-s90v para 2 through the mail, probably stolen by roommates or neighbours out of the mail box

Large Regular Sebenza many years ago

My brother found a case fixed blade in the woods near my house. It was a beautiful little leather handled hunter. Mirror polished and just gorgeous. I bought it off him and kept it in my display case for a few years and took it out on a little walk through those same trails. I lost it right about the same place my brother found it. Id like to think the true owner found it one day.

Spyderco ARK, 2 days after received it... mine came with a bad sheath retention, and cause it is so light i did not remark anything when it was gone away.

First post! Been lurking for a couple of weeks. I've lost several of the normal Swiss Army knives growing up, but the worst was my first Spyderco. I bought it when I was in high school and only had it for a couple of weeks before it disappeared at a summer camp (or more than likely grew legs).

Up until a few weeks ago I thought I had lost a Vicronox Spartan that I received as a 5 year service award at work. I carried it daily for a few years before it disappeared. Then my father in law found it under the seat of my wife's car! I was pretty excited about that.

I lost a Buck 119, well I think it was, had no idea there were other models other than the 110. I got it when I was around 10, a gift from my dad. He passed away recently and I went to look for it. I was bummed. I hope my son found it and stashed it somewhere, if that was the case I would be fine with losing it.

I HAD a friend steal 2 folders from me a long time ago.
One I don't remember the name to, the other was a crkt something, back then it was the business haha.
This was about 15 years ago.

Don't make friends with meth users (he didn't look or act like one when we were friends).

My first Spyderco.

Fully serrated Ladybug that my mother bought first me when I was about 12 and was going on a summer canoe trip.

Pains me to this day that somewhere along the line I misplaced it.

Only lost two knives. First was a Kershaw Crown I bought that very day. It was $10 so I got over it pretty quick. Second was a custom made CA legal switchblade that was gifted to me a while back. A lot of sentimental value. I lost it at my girlfriends house. My buddy found it the next day while he was banging my girlfriend. I have not seen either the knife, that piece of shit that stole my knife, or my ex girlfriend. To be completely honest I could care less about him banging her, I forgot about that years ago, but I think about the knife every day. That was about 10 years ago.

I lost two. First was an Italian stag handled stiletto/$100 that I forgot was in my jacket from the previous winter. Got pulled over while driving (I never get pulled over), cop pats me down and to my disbelief he pulls the stiletto out of my pocket. Didn't site me for anything but kept my blade. The second was a ZT0620 that was my edc blade. Just went to pull it out of my pocket and it became nowhere to be found. Replaced it with a blacked out roadhouse for day to day cutting chores. I now carry any of my high end knives in a maxpedition sheath with confidence. I like using the pocket clip but no longer trust it.
