Knife you have lost.

Dropped a spyderco tenacious in about 1 1/2 feet of snow at 2 in the morning, replaced with the resilience but not liking as much as the tenacious

My Buck 55, about 10 years ago...cried like a baby! Still look in pockets and seat cushions with great hope...

I had an AG Russel 3.0" Titanium Lockback fall out of my watch pocket while I was out and about, didn't notice until I got home and it was gone for good. That was a dang nice knife, too.

I lost a few when I was a kid, but a few years ago someone stole 3 from me. A sodbuster, an opinel, and a spyderco.

I've lost my fair share of SAKs. All were easily replaceable, though. I lost my Spyderco Cricket in Paris years ago. It was the old FRN version that I really liked. Wish I could find another one.

Large Regular Sebenza.
It was my first really good knife.
That was a sad sad day.
Was like losing a trusty companion...well almost! ;)

Oh and had my first big boy knife stolen that I had since I was 12. It was a cheapie Bucklite drop point hunter in 440C. I had it in a sheath kept in my patio as a throw around outside knife to cut cord, boxes etc. No biggie, but a little sentimental having used it to dress my first big game when I was 16. Stolen by guys delivering my new stove. Bastards... Hope they cut their finger with it.

I've lost a lot of knives but the one that comes to mind is the Benchmade CQC-7 Emerson I lost in the High Sierra in the '90's. I'd had it a year or so. I probably never would have purchased another folder had I retained it. So it's that knife's fault for this horrible addicition I have developed since--probably due to deep loss/abandonment issues a shrink could iron out in a few sessions.

On a reverse note, the one that comes to mind that I FOUND was a new Gerber paraframe 3" I came across one morning in the street. What a horrible trick that person played on me. I almost re-lost it as a nasty trick on someone else but didn't.

Spyderco ARK, 2 days after received it... mine came with a bad sheath retention, and cause it is so light i did not remark anything when it was gone away.

Yikes. One thing I've noticed about the ARK (mine, anyway) is that it doesn't always seat properly in the sheath, especially if I try to re-sheath it one-handed. My CRKT Minimalist slides right back in and clicks into place no problem, but with the ARK I have to pay attention to what I'm doing to make sure it goes back in properly.
It's really the only thing I don't like about the knife.

Edit: since "stolen" is being included, my favorite machete was stolen by contractors. And, like stog75, I also hope they cut themselves with it. I did keep it good and sharp though judging from the condition of their cutting tools, it's probably a dull, rusty mess by now. It does *not* deserve to be treated like that. :(

Lost one of these in a pile of autumn leaves, sone 50+ years ago. I was playing "stretch" and the thing went off somewhere in the leaves, never to be found. Then a couple years ago I finally replaced it:

Those are terrible aren't they? Glad I'm not the only one who thinks so. I bought one years back but it probably just needs to go in the garbage.

I lost a Spyderco Remote Release on a SAR training descent/ascent of Tenaya Canyon in Yosemite NP. I was on the "down team" and about 1/2 way we were expected to meet the "up team" exchange info and car keys. Somewhere while scrambling under a very large boulder it must have unclipped from my climbing harness. I was bummed the whole ride home. I new that very few people even go into Tenaya Canyon and when the river rises in the spring the knife would be washed downstream and probably gone forever.

As a boy I lost my Swiss Champ and still don't know where I lost it!

Dragonfly super blue ... somewhere in Norway. I would have not guessed how expensive it was going to get - coming here to BF to look for alternatives :p

First knife loss: Victorinox Outrider. Left it on top of the car during a road trip, it fell to the ground when we left. Nobody heard nothing.
Worse knife loss: Cold Steel Ti-Lite 6. God, I loved that knife. Bought another as soon as I could

Blue scales — maybe a Cub Scout knife? They typically had 3 blades (to the Boy Scout's four blades): main, awl, and cap lifter/screwdriver. Missing was the can opener.
