Knife you own that has the strongest snap ?

another GEC, this is one of the earlier #73s from 2008, the strong backspring snap plus linerlock click are pretty impressive when you open it, my other 73 from the year 2011 is softer. I have bent my nails a couple of times on this.

The strongest snap would be my scagel fruitport. I can pinch it open easily but it sure has a commanding snap when opening closing and at the half stop. It's funny because I have used the knife so much that I know exactly how to deal with the spring and it opens quite naturally and smoothly. A while back I passed it over to my brother and when he opened it it basically was vibrating in his hand. Looked really funny :)

The old Waterville takes the cake among my knives. Gotta be careful opening this one since it's tricky getting a solid grip.

Fatcorgi - I have that same blue bone #73L, and although the snap is decent, nothing snaps like my ruby red #23. That baby will remove a finger if it got in the way.
My AG Russel cowboy also has one helluva snap.

These four are all about equal on walk and talk, the En Aubrac and Rossignol Laguioles don't have kicks, so you have to close them gently so you don't ruin the edge, the GEC #54 moose is perfect in every way, and the Vic Swiss Army pruner is from the 80's they were handed out at work, it's has the strongest snap of any Swiss Army knife I've had, don't know if it is typical of this particular model.

I'll add another voice for the Fruitport. It's not difficult to open with the cutout in the blade but man, this thing SLAMS closed. Super solid knife.
