Evening all. Busy and yet unproductive weekend, now it's face to the grindstone again. Mutter mutter.

Good night.
For professional reasons I could not bother around here, but I'm back!!
I sold my small business and I'm in the private sector, less stress ...
How are you?
They say the NSA spy ....
ANDORRA's in the house! woop woop YEEEEEEEEE . Welcome back YO!
Daniel ,did you figure out the G10 hardware for the DFK Ti beer bottles yet?
Have a good night y'all.

Xander! Any tips for working copper?

Well, how you gonna work it? Hammered? Cut/grind? If grinding, it gets hot pretty quick and stays hot. If hammering, anneal often. Heat to just below red heat or to red heat and quench in water.

When you file it, I like to use chalk in my files, keeps it from loading up really fast, but still card them often. Clean with lemon juice or hot vinegar.

Evening folks!

Gonna make some phone calls tomorrow looking for some vacuum tubes (valves to non Americans) for a headphone amp project. I know of a couple old school repair shops still in business around town. I also found a really cool speaker project I want to build! Single full range 4 1/2" drivers that are reported to have excellent sound!

Let's go to work.
This week there are only four working days, Monday through Thursday.
I expected a long day, there is much work to prepare.

Spending my morning doing some writing, sending some post cards, writing some checks too. Ugh, everyone wants money. Got some good tunes going, MIA right now, having a pumpkin beer (not my favorite, but it'll do), almost out of ink in my fountain pen, been reading up on vacuum tube theory as well. Just doing stuff to keep me busy and enjoying my morning! The bunnies seem to be enjoying their play time out of the cage as well. Anyways, just a bunch of randomness going on here!

Good morning y'all. I tried my first hamon yesterday. I will see how or if it came out today when I do some clean up sanding. Have a good one!

Only one more day to Samain, for Halloween which is a forum of USA.
At night a few beers and prepare a "queimada" and Friday morning visit to the tomb of my uncles.
You'll have a good day, I put a youtube link to be understood

Afternoon fellas.

Ordered some thicker 52100 last night. I blame Daniel for telling me about it; its fun to work with!

Going to setup my Grizzly tonight. I've been eyeballin' up this Pheer and man it's tough but I gotta put that aside for next year :)

Hope everyone's havin' a great day! Daniel where those pics! You got like 12 more knives to show :P

Yo!

Went and did the Trick-or-Treat thing with the by yesterday at the University, they do a "safe trick or treat for kids" every year, it was pretty cool actually! Guided groups through the campus, the sororities and fraternities have their own competition for best theme house and the offices go all out, then there is a carnival put on by the different groups and colleges (like Oxford style mini colleges within the University) with games and prizes. There was also a free exhibition basketball game after, but we didn't go to that. Reall had a good time!

Finished with my house chores, got some good tunes goin and finally get to relax a bit before work.

I'm excited about the tube amp project, I really like old amps. The point to point wiring will be killer!

Sounds good! I am going to 52100 for a good percentage of my knives... it is off the charts!

Daniel is at the Lager...
:D

lol not yet, my beer still has to age for a week or so! :D

We had a family day yesterday, I managed to make a new batch of beer in the morning! It's technically an "Amber Hybrid" ale... Altbbeer, Steam Beer and Oktoberfest are a few in that category.

Walter White style, lol! too funny

Breaking Bad is filmed just south of here, a lot of the places we go rock collecting are straight out of the RV scenes... lots of cool desert terrain to explore.
