Good morning y'all. Had a rough one last night, very little sleep (as in I tried but could not) and I ground my finger tips off. Now I have to deal with the home insurance people. They are coming over to see if my pitbulls are baby eaters or not before they will let us change policies.

Buddy Rich is anything but slow jams! Just some good 70's fast jazz drumming! He was even on the Muppets Show in the 70's! Its good stuff for sure, super clean patterns and done really fast, a lot of cymbal work in his style too.

R.I.P. Minidisc format. February of this year Sony announced it ceased production of Minidisc layers. Its a shame, for portable sound reproduction quality it is almost unmatchable. Plus you can record direct on the player. PC->MD has always been screwy a bit, but it is a great format!

Hell no! The Minidisc brought the "mix tape" into the 90's and 2000's. Currently, playing some Bad Religion. Just the sound of ejecting and inserting a new disc brings back memories of making mix tapes to play at home! Nothing like sitting next to the boom box with your finger on record waiting for your favorite jams to come on the radio. Don't pretend you don't know what I'm talking about! :cool: :D

Happy weekend all. I just finished up an epic workday. Now, brews and tunes and maybe a little shop time if I can find my stupid hacksaw blades!

lol I woke up to a beer explosion! My 2 new batches (Belgian/American Golden Strong Ale and "Ain't Nobody Got Time For Dat Sweet Honey Brown Ale" both blew off their airlocks and gushed beer everywhere! one left a 6 foot trail, I bet it hit the ceiling!

I think my whole kitchen is covered in beer, it is like honey was poured everywhere... unfermented beer is sticky! lol no big deal but pretty funny
