I'm headed to the local brewery for an American Strong Ale actually. Woo!

Lol, what a sight to wake up to. Maybe the brew got too warm?

How's Sara coming along with that little project? I've been going over my knives sorting them out by size lately, I think I'm going to get rid of a bunch of ones that haven't been using lately.

lol yes! Not enough headspace for the beer, I usually use a 7 gallon bucket to ferment a 5 gallon batch.... I broke the lid for it while sanitizing and wound up using 2 smaller containers in a pinch. I knew it might happen but wow, healthy yeast! It smells like a bakery in here.


Sheaths - nothing much yet as Sara just completed the last few before them yesterday. They are up next and I'll try to post the progress as they are going to be incredible! Everything is lined up for them...
 
Xander I like the minidiscs! We used to rent a md recorder back in the day, that is how I got into digital recording. good times...

Yeah, the MD is nice with optical line input for recording. Crazy, I looked up how much to buy a new one of mine (MZ-N505) and they were $400+ for new ones! Used you can find them for 20-40 bucks, but I couldn believe the new price.

Morning dudes. baker, That is pretty sweet! I noticed a little rust starting on the blade of my Higo the other day so I decided to give it a quick scrub with some 0000 steel wool . while doing this I was talking to Jen (bad idea!) I slipped and felt my finger slide across the stupid sharp edge of that blade. I looked down with the widest of eyes to see that I must have slid across at the most forgiving of angles because it only took the thinnest slice of skin off ( I couldn't have sliced that thin of a layer off if I had tried). I thought I layed my finger wide open. I was a luuuuuucky bastid!

Dude...I did the exact same thing while I was cleaning off my Bluephin last week. That thing is the most stupidly sharp knife I've ever owned and I feared for the worst before I looked down.

I guess the only difference is that I was watching TV lol
