Good mornin' To all y'all! I'm drinking cups of coffee like whiskey shots, getting ready to go into the shop and try some new ideas out. I got some free Ti yesterday , that's right FREE:)
Have a good one !

Yeahhh! What a day!

Inherited a W520 today. Motherboard was toast, but it was under warranty. Sawwweeeettt.

Come home to my DFK-treated blades!

Thanks Daniel! I owe you big. I gotta pack up some beer and goodies and return to sender.

That is a killer score on the computer!

The colors are so cool on the bottom tanto! I was really impressed by the design and like the size especially! big and cool!

I’d assumed all that wear resistant makes the hand sanding process extremely tough.

So how’s CPM D2 compare to 3V in term of grinding?

That's a fact!

CPMD2 vs 3V - about the same, according to the engineering charts the D2 is tougher to grind. I have never hand sanded D2 but the 3V was something else!

Got some Stones cranked on the TT right now, Under My Thumb, then Stupid Girl. Of course I'm talking about the Aftermath album, playing an original pressing from '68 right now, through my 1968 Pinoeer SX-1500TD amp. TT is new, Technics SL-BD20D, fantastic budget unit that will really fool the audio snobs into thinking it cost 5x what it did! After a cartridge up grade of course.

Paint it black, now that's rock 'n roll!

We should plan a group project with the regular knifemakers here. A touch of everyone, donate it to charity or something :P

daniel, you need to make your friction folder design, a flipper on ikbs or similar.. remove the friction folder actuator tang and put in some flipper function. People would have the option of that design in friction or flipper mode :)

Yes I called it an actuator, wtf is it??? O_O

So when will this be to market? :D

Sup, folks?
Farchyld , your blades are looking awesome!
Have a great one today y'all!

What cartridge are you using? That's a great "budget" set up. (Price not sound quality)
