Got this nice smallish pliers, carried in my pocket in a small slip sheath, quite powerful and very handy tool.

Thanks for the pic. I am trying to find a leather pocket slip that will work. Website says 1.35” wide, regular knife slip might not work...

I don’t know if this will help, but I dug through a drawer and found this whetstone slip, which measures 1.75” from one row of stitching to the other.

Lists have been given out, hopefully I'll find a set of these in a stocking or under the tree in a bit more than 2 weeks. Otherwise, maybe my b-day not long afterwards.

I have found that if you adjust them to be a bit wider in the jaws they carry a bit thinner. Might help with finding a suitable slip.

Edited to add: I know that these aren't the same as the 4 inch pairs, so maybe it won't work for them.

Yep, that's what I do with mine, I open the pliers up to the second position so the handles are just far apart that it goes into the sheath without a problem,

I leave just a bit of the handle to be able to grip and slide out of the sheath;

Yup, used the little guys 4 times today Wicked handy.

Neoprene tape - mostly to mark them and brighten them up a bit in case I drop them. Of course, made them a bit grippier too, though possibly not needed. Can't hoit

This is great. I'm also a LM multi-tool user, but frequently run into the "these jaws just aren't doing it" problem that rears its ugly head at times.

I don't carry the LM pouch at all, so I'm thinking of loading it up with a SAK, a micro flashlight and these pliers.

I swear Gary W. Graley you find some cool stuff. Now if you'd just quit showing it to me.

I’m not a fan of knipex but I carry channel locks with me everywhere. They are very handy even if it’s just to crack open a walnut.
