Knives and Drinks!

An Islay man myself. Gonna have to give that a try.
First time for me. Its very interesting, the main flavor was like a brownie/fudgy taste, some fruit, nuts, salt, and a tiny bit of peat (they say its not peated but I swear I got some). Definitely a change from my bourbon, but I dig it. Would be great with a Padron cigar I think.

It's certainly worth it. Definitely go with the 12-year. It's one of those where the price difference feels smaller than the quality difference. It just sort of hits the nail on the head for what it is.

I'd be curious to hear how you like this unpeated Islay.

Does anyone know anything about pisco? I hear Peruvians say theirs is better than that of Chile as the Peruvians say they have higher quality control, and they use a variety of grapes while Chile may only use one type. Would like to see a bottle with a knife here and anyone’s experience drinking it. I hear it usually mixed with other things, a pisco sour.
